install 2 amps , the amp for the sub wont turn off killing my battery, the remote wire seems fine, what's wrong here, i am also using a relay between remote wire and amps.

obviously its a remote issue.
just check the connections and make sure ur gettin 12v only when the car is on

is the relay neccessary? what kind of deck? where did you run the remote line from? the stock harness or an aftermarket deck? does the other amp and deck turn off when key is pulled out?

I don't understand why a relay is being used but if the remote turn on from the headunit is triggering the power to the amp from the battery and there is not issue with the remote turn on power, then the relay must be busted. It is possible that the relay is not turning the power off when the remote turn on is off.

try swapping the remote lines runing to each amp, see if the other amp will turn off with the remote line plugged into the amp thats not turning off currently. If it does not turn off then its the wiring, if it does then its the amp, you will need to swap it out and that should fix everything, do you got a warranty for the amp thats malfunctioning?
