323ci hardwire???

i took the sunroof switch pannel off.....I think the phone wire is up their.......it has 3 wires yellow black and clear.....can i hardwire my radar to that and if so, what color does the positive n negative go to/

Phone wire won't work... I tried it. Use the wires for the Universal Transmitter (aka homelink)

I had issues hard wiring my radar in the 323i too. In the end, I tapped into the vanity light on the passg. side sun visor which turns on/off with ignition. Works like a charm. Easy to fish wire from the visor to the sunroof area too.
