Did anybody here upgrade their fuel system when they supercharged their vehicles? I have heard that some have upgraded to M3 fuel pumps when they supercharged. Is this true, can a M3 fuel pump fit on a 330i? My vehicle is a 2004 330i. Thanks in advance for any responses.

What supercharger, how much boost? Why do you think you need to upgrade the fuel pump? Do you have a fuel problem you're trying to solve? Was the kit designed to work with the stock fuel pump?

I'm running close to 15lbs on the stock fuel pump. I know of others that pushed close to 390rwhp on the stock pump as well.

Hi,

I'm running a M3 fuelpump on a 328 coupe from 99 with a ESS TS 3 setup. My tuners in Denmark said that the TS 2 injectors had to be open all the time (not getting enough fuel) for it to reach app. 380 hp at the crank - so we switched to the M3 fuel pump and now I'm running 400 hp at the crank and 470 nm.

As I understood them it was a straight forward swap - they only invoiced me one hour for the swap.

Hope it was useful

I am also running the M3 fuel pump with my TS3. It is suppose to be a direct swap. :)

Wow, thanks for everyone’s response. I am interested in AA C38 kit for the 330i. Since this kit was designed to work with the stock pump, the stock pump will provide the necessary fuel flow rates required.

Stock 330 fuel pump is good to over 400whp if it is in decent condition.

Does anyone know the LPH for M3 fuel pump?

Never mind. I just found out a test done by a little scientist hehe :P

His results were 185LPH for non-M engines (I think they are all the same) and for E46 M3 about 210LPH. These numbers are based on 12.6 volts so it might make more when the voltage goes 14-16V (alternator generates little more V when revving high). In other words about 15% more flow.

This might be a dumb question...Which one is the correct part# for the M3 pump?

sorry to bring back an old thread - but if I am going stage 3 (ESS TS3) and supposedly the engine will be making more than 400hp - should I go with M3 pump?

I am getting some confusing info
