Finally got around to getting my car dynoed after i installed my stg 1 kit. The shop that was doing my runs was not familiar at all with the M3's so they had all sorts of problems. 1st they couldnt get my torque measured cause they had a hard time tapping into my engine for it. Dont really know much about it, so that is all i was told. They also didnt measure my A/F cause they had issues with installing the bung into the headers as well.

Lack of knowledge from the shop is what im saying.

I will be going to a new shop soon to get more accurate numbers. It seems that my 3rd run was the best, however as i was told it seems that my car likes to run warm. My car was generating more power as the engine got warmer.

All you gurus, you tell me. Do my numbers look up to par with what i should be generating with my stg 1? After correction, my highest was 394hp.

Also, they were telling me that because my plugs were gapped to stock specifications, that is why up on top my graph was not steady. and that if i was to regap my plugs correctly, that it should clear up the top power level. you can see what im talking about in the graph. Anyone can chime in and tell me if they are correct.

That looks aweful rough for SAE 5 smoothing.

Could that be caused by detonation? Someone else might be able to better answer the cause but I'd personally assume its inconsistent burn or detonation.

Looks like ignition break-up to me. "Best" fix is an upgraded ignition, but running a smaller plug gap will probably also work.

i remember looking at the chart with the shop. the A/F was good and was not detonating.

congrats on the #'s

OT: does anybody know if VF can tune a VF kit with a T-Trim blower ? ...just wondering..
