So I just ran a 6spd C5 vette convertible, with intake, exhaust, and gears. We did one run from 3rd @ 60mph and I pulled two cars up to ~140mph. The second run was from 2nd @ 40mph and I pulled three cars up to ~140mph. I did gain my lengths early though, if we had started any higher around 80 or so he probably would've been next to me... Of course he made the "I have a full tank, and my spare, etc" excuse, so we're going to run again later this week, and hopefully I'll have it on video. I just had to share... pretty excited actually :excited:

Yes, this is nothing for the FI M's or the superdeeduper 330s out there, but I'm pretty proud of my little 2.8 :D

Very nice!

On the side note about the c38 kit. It really is amazing. Last weekend i had a race on a track with C32 AMG which had 98/race fuel mixture. My shifting was terrible, but i managed to keep up with it. Lost with only 0,2 seconds.
i didn't get to run with 335, but his times were about 0,2-0,3 seconds better. So i think with better shifting and better 60 feet i would have won.

tell I'm sorry for your friends loss, and I understand that your probably upset, but I doubt your going to change anyones mind with your opinion, giving that I knew the conditions of the run, and your tone in your first tone was a tad aggressive. No hard feelings regardless :hi:

I've been drag racing for a long time and I try my best to get people to take it to the track. We even have special King of Street races for all those street racer grudge matches.
