Alright,
I recently picked up an AA Level 2 SC'd M3. Of course, it has the alky/water injection setup...but i'm looking for a little more edge.
I've done some research and reading through the threads and found that several of the guys on here have either made the switch or are thinking about making the switch to meth.
I was told that the only component that needs to be changed out is the alky/water pump.
1) Which pump do we replace it with?
2) What size nozzle do we switch to, I believe the AA Alky inj. nozzle is .125" right? What do you guys use, and where did you buy it from?
3) Do you mount the nozzle in the same position as original nozzle or do you relocate it?
4) What ratio do you run the meth/h20 mixture at - 50:50?
5) I don't plan on getting it retuned by AA yet since they aren't doing much of that right now. The DME should adapt pretty well and add even more timing than the alky setup. How much more timing are we talking about, what kind of gains should one expect with just a straight conversion and no retune (alowing the computer to self-adjust)? Is 450-480whp attainable you think - since its almost like running race gas?
6) Does AA plan on making a new reflash for those wishing to run meth instead of alky?
