Sorry if it is a noob question, but what is that resivour/ tank in the upper left of your engine bay?

My guess is for an eventual meth instead of fuel spray.

Looks outstanding! That is for sure one of the sickest Nitrous set ups on an M3 I have ever seen!! Congrats

On a little side note, if you were to get pulled over by a cop and asked to pop the hood, would they freak out about this? Isn't it highly illegal to run Nitrous in California, like to the point they will impound the car? I guess try and keep the bottle as well out of view as possible and maybe fashion a cover in the engine bay to cover it? I doubt this will ever arise, so probably nothing to worry about, but just throwing that out there.

Thats interesting to know...what kind of trouble can someone get if the car was search and nitrous was found.

I leave my bottle disconnected and I'm planning on building a cover to make it look like I have a big sub woofer box. (See Photo)

But its interesting to know what kind of trouble can be seen with nitrous????

AKbrazil, That's the system i am using from Wizard of Nos. It's amazing isn't. I can't wait for it to be done so you can see for yourself if the OP post results how efficient this system is over any other.

I have a few quick questions for you while you're attention is on this thread.

Whats the maximum length from the pulsoid to the nozzle on that tubing? (6"-8"?)
Is there an ideal distance from the port to inject....ex) could I inject halfway down my runners instead of at the beginning of them?

My intake manifold has a cove over the runners, and "little" clearance above for mounting that stuff.

I probably can't afford the WON stuff now, but am definitely starting to look into it more seriously, 100+ shot will come when they develop the plugs for my engine with a couple of series "colder" than stock. Regapping/adding boosters isn't gonna happen.

I tried keep mine around 7 inches and have since the photo in my sig changed my setup. Also once i finish my other project i am going to change it even more. You don't want to be more than 12 inches away from the injection but the short the harder the hit. Also you want to be close to the cylinder as possible. What I like about the wizard of nos setup is that the jettings are done right in the pulsoid and not in the injector nozzle so having them placed as close as possible will be ideal.
If i am not making since please ask the question again but hopefully i answered your question.

Perfectly, and for better and worse it gives WON an advantage of better packaging over a dynotune setup (dynotune only wins in the price box).

The longest line i have is the bottle line from the trunk which it a must but other than that, I plumbed all my line to the specs best for my manifold. I could show you another design I had but i don't want to crowd the OP thread that's the reason for posting one of my old plumbings.

I thought M3 motors were already ticking time bombs....then you add nitrous? You must trust your motor more then most.

I guess with that kind of thinking, there would be no 650HP turbo motors, and no 550HP S/C motors (with nitrous) out there. If properly tuned and designed, like the WON set up, there will be no reason to doubt that he can't maintain a 500HP to 600HP with a stock motor without jeopardizing internal components.

For those types of numbers i would definitely upgrade fuel pump to be on the safe side but we are talking about the WON setup which is design for these type of numbers. People have to remember that this system is also progressive which in lower gears can be setup to say 20 or 30 percent of the jets to spray and as you get into the higher rpms/gears you add more. So it's not just one big shot. For example he will probably jet it at 150 shot which will be three 50 jets. Start off with 30hp(20%) and build this over a period of rpms/gearing to 150 shot. He want see the extra 150-200rwhp until the later rpms if the Max extreme is configured right.
I just say take baby steps until you get what you want. The WON is is not only design better and more efficient but more power than any other nitrous system. Yes there has been testing to prove this for those of you who think a nitrous setup is a nitrous setup. I never forget the first time a jetted my setup at 150 shot with stock clutch which is why I have a race clutch and light weight flywheel installed in the car now.
stock torque on my car was about 187rwhp but with a 150 my torque was somewhere in the neighborhood of 400lb of torque. I did not know where the extra 50hp came from so be careful and start out small.
Oh, Get a dyno and video with the nitrous.

I thought M3 motors were already ticking time bombs....then you add nitrous? You must trust your motor more then most. Just moved up to 150shot and it hits hard..just need to fix my missfire at 7000rpm and 1/4mile here I come:thumbsup: Strength of the motor is not a concern.:)

we should meet i would like to see your setup, what did they do for you? they are all cool at bottle fed racing i would def. recomend him

eric helped out on the ss pipes but we ended up changing it. this is his work at bottle fed worked fine but wasnt pleasing to my eyes.

then i sent it to the wizard WON and this is the result from them.

I really love this thread! It is amazing to see how much the performance has been made for the M3 in the last few years. I think it is proven how stout the M3 engine truly is!

I also love the progressive Nitrous you have now. It will be awesome that you can control the power increase and most likely retain much more traction. Major props and I can't wait to see this beast in action!
