After waiting years for the Stage2 kit I just had yet another check of their website and now the stage 2 kit for the 330ci isn't even mentioned as being "In Dev" (In development) and also no "TBA" for the pricing.

I hope someone from VF can finally clarify if they are going to actually produce this kit or not. Some of us have no doubt bought their kit with a view to going stage 2 as it was advertised "In Dev" when we bought them...or as I have suspected for some time now...they have scrapped the whole stage 2 idea.

Can someone from VF Engineering finally tell us whether this Unicorn is going to show its face at all?

Maybe VF sees more profit in continuing development in the E46 ///M instead of the Non-///M. I wonder how many E46 non-///M units VF has sold.

The thing is I bought my kit on the strength of them advertising a stage 2 kit in development at the time. it was supposed to be released a few months later but there have been nothing but excuse after excuse and still not kit 2 years later and now looking at their website it doesnt look like they are going to develop a stage 2 after all.

Yeah, I considered VF's Stage 1 kit at one time but now I'm leaning towards ESS's TS1 kit.

You probably will never see a stage 2 kit - I believe he posted a while back they decided to scrap it (Nick correct me if wrong), if you want more power you're better off selling the kit used and picking up a TS2 or a TT turbo when its released.

That said, if you aren't happy with stage 1 levels, the difference to stage 2, etc. is going to get you only a bit more time before you want to upgrade cars.

OK so VF are a bit conspicuous in their absence in this thread...but seeing as they weren't the only tuner to use the Vortech blower what are my chances of using the stage 2 aftercooled intake, injectors, software and blower pulley from another manufacturer?

A lot of companies will help you with whatever, some won't.
