I am in the process of buying a kit from lexie330ci. It is the technik ASA kit, we contacted Samir about teh software so we are cool there. It looks like a couple parts may be missing. This is an install for the 330ci and came off a 330ci, but the parts pic is generic from technik. Could anybody identify the missing parts and say whether they are needed for the 330 install, or what they are?

can you please tell me how much boost your running on this kit and what does the pulley measure?

on your little problem you might have a hard time getting in touch with anyone for support. hopefully some of the supercharged guys on here can help find the missing parts or point you in the directiton where to get them

I will be running 8psi of boost on a 135mm pulley. My question is, are the parts trully missing? Because the pic from technik is not specific for the 330. Maybe someone can chime in...

if you measure it with a ruler, how much does it measure in inches. the reason i'm asking is because i was suppose to be at 9.5 and my pulley is just about 6 inches. is the shop that took it off local? did they just take it off recently or was it sitting around for a few month?
call the previous owner and find out if he has any parts. with all the little things that are involed in this kit you should try and get in touch with zolti and see if he can see anything missing from the picture. zolti is prob your best bet. he works that autotalent now

I don't have the pulley or sc in my possesion yet. here is the situation. The previous owner, never used it waiting for a DMU flash. His mechanic removed it and he is now selling it to me. He sent pics of his sc kit and I am matching it up to generic pics from tehcnik to make sure all the parts are there. two small things are missing and I am trying to figure out what they are before I seal the deal. meanwhile we are awaiting an email from technik from samir. I was just wondering if someone here knew about the parts

I guess I could try to get zolti's email...

I think Alex still has the kit, he didn't want to sell it without making sure everything was there. Kit came off the car recently, and thats everything he got, but he really has no idea what could or couldn't be missing.

I think the best thing to do is try to get a complete list (which Alex has been trying to do) from technik so he can count everything out. There are always little bolts and stuff missing, most of which can be bought locally, but some of the parts might not be so easy to find.

i would count samir out. the only last contact that i know would be zolti. sorry but there have been issues and samir is no where to be found

yeah, i'm the buyer from Alex. I appreciate his hard work making this work. I just posted this up to see if anyone knew of any missing parts here. There seem to be only a few missing.

if thats the case that cool, but i heard different. the gentlemen selling the kit is doing a nice job making sure all the parts are there before he hands someone a problem.

ok well your picture is hard to tell, but the one thing that people ALWAYS leave out...

i see the circle part of the banjo bolt, where is the plug part? when i bought my kit off the scum bag tornadojay (POS) he kept the oil tap plugs because its easier to just screw them back in, than to fix the hole in the oil pan the right way and pass the parts on.

my email is [deleted] (dont abuse this lurkers) if you email me a better high res picture i can probably sort it out for you. i installed the same kit, u just have newer parts. lets just say i got extremely acclimated with my engine bay and the kit :D but theres no possible way i can tell you if you are missing bolts, hose clamps, etc.

p.s. ^^ u (person above me) got a lot of balls calling someone a smart ass when u cant figure out MM to inches on ur own, with the internet at your disposal....

Could you tell me who installed your kit, how much they charged, and were you sent it in for software programming?

yeah sorry im not gonna be any help

i had it installed in my garage, i charged myself $222 to pay for parts the POS vijay patel ripped me off, and i sent it to a friend who has a shop to do the programming, i use a crappy variable resistor (ive heard this called asatronic, the AA box, etc) he used a dyno and my wideband afr to find the perfect setting and marked and glued the dial in place, mount it inside the ecu box.

the downside to this is lower redline, and he tells me the car is stuck in "closed loop" until 4200rpm. as far as i can tell, this is what car mnfctr do to cars to make it pass emissions. Emissions i believe, are tested at 4k, so they slightly detune at that rpm to hit the emissions numbers. i want to get the software to break down that wall, but technik dissolved, or moved on, or something. and if anyone thinks im paying 1k for someone to press a button to reflash my ecu i have a bridge to sell you.

He actually has a modified dipstick shipping with the kit, I dunno if thats what you were referring to that most people leave out.

I know Alex is out of town at the moment, I'm going to try to help him track some of these parts down further (with aid of only the pictures).

I may PM you (redronin) for help if it gets into bolts and I can't really tell, you might have a better idea.

I talked to Zolti at autotalent, and he said the missing parts were not necessary to install. I think the washers and such can be replaced. he also said he has a stock of parts he can send me if need be. So, I just sent lexie a pm for his mailing address so I can send him a personal check

brodaiga - it was nice that zolti was able to help you out

anyways, yes to answer a PM from the OP. yes i installed the kit myself, while i dont feel comfortable taking responsibility for someone elses car (i cant do the install myself for you) i will most definitely help any way that i can. let me know anything to do, advice, or if you are in the area i can take a look at anything you can show me.

install was a lot of fun, and not hard. i didnt have any real prior experience and i made it out alive. goodluck and let me know how i can help
