i have the 2.93 in my manual right now. I know 3.38 is the best for na. does this change at all for a sc car? and why?

What kind of SC and how much boost are you planning?

With an ASA, you'd probably benefit from something higher than your 2.93 as you need to get into the higher rpm range to generate significant boost.

As to what's best, everyone will have a different opinion. My opinion is that you probably won't be disappointed with anything in the 3.15 - 3.38 range.

thanks, i'll pickup a 3.38. I assume adding a diff won't mess with the software for the sc somehow?

Nope, the 2 are completely unrelated.
