Hey Guys
:wow:
Just thought I would start a new thread for the last few pics till I wack the AA charger in.
The HPF titanium exhaust and Feramic 600WHP clutch arrived today.. here are the pics!!!
Ok let's start with the old.... here's the OEM exhaust... weighing in at a hefty 26kg and with fairly high resistance (and a nice note)
http://i245.photobucket.com/albums/gg48/breakbeatzboy/Bimmer%20April%202008/DSC02248.jpg
And HERE'S the evil new one, weighing in at a measly 3.5kg and flowing like a mutha.
http://i245.photobucket.com/albums/gg48/breakbeatzboy/Bimmer%20April%202008/DSC02243.jpg
See how light it is, this is Zaid at Zeemax about to drive my car onto the lift
http://i245.photobucket.com/albums/gg48/breakbeatzboy/Bimmer%20April%202008/DSC02240.jpg
Here's a closeup of the flamed tips (80mm!!)
http://i245.photobucket.com/albums/gg48/breakbeatzboy/Bimmer%20April%202008/DSC02242.jpg
And here's the new 600RWHP Feramic clutch, also courtesy of Horsepower Freaks!!

I will post a clip of the dyno later this afternoon..
I have clip of the current exhaust sound so will post both for a comparison
:excited::excited::excited::excited:
PS - I know car looks pretty skanky but it was raining in Cape Town so I parked under a tree for a meeting.... sigh!

Sheesh I wish bro! My car is a workhorse and carts babies around... I'm in the building trade so it has hard hats in the boot and often ends up on building sites... I also track my car so it gets splattered with bugs and oil and tar.
She's generally pretty filthy but she goes like a bullet... albeit a dirty one!!

So when are u getting the S/C?
The charger should be shipping latest Friday this week.... if they send it express it will take around a week to ship and clear... worst case it will be installed before the end of this month
This vid was a fun FVCK around... but once the SC is in I'll be doing some proper vids, you can expect
1. New Dyno Runs
2. Fly by's
3. Mountain Passes (With strapped on action cam)
4. Burnouts
5. In car 0 - 300
6. In car heavy cornering
and more... my friend and I have been working on a bit of a script so we'll start shooting as soon as she's done and put something truly wicked together...
I must just say that day 1 with the exhaust was a bit nerve wracking as it sounds a bit "Gangster!" - I was literally sweating with adrenalin when I got home... After another day of driving it I'll learnt to modulate the noise so for about 80% of driving it just has a nice deep note... on heavy acceleration, however, it sound completely EVIL!!!!
I do know that I can never go back to stock.... this sound is so addictive.... I'm actually hedging to go out on the rd again now..... I'm sure we need some milk or bread or toilet paper or something !!

No this time the reserve bank gave grief about the amount of money leaving the country.. it seems that while you are still in the tens of 1,000's it's alright but when you start going into the 100's there's all sorts of additional red tape... so irritating but at least it' moving now...

Sure will :)
Not only that.. but I recon it will be the most powerful M3 in the country... for a while anyway
Let me qualify that statement...
Rob Green is claiming much higher on his supercharger kit but I have heard his claims are often VERY exaggerated and I KNOW that no-one anywhere has produced a SC kit with higher output than the AA stage 2 I'm getting... If he really was producing a reliable kit with higher output than AA I'd be very very surprised
This kit has a PROVEN output of 525Hp on US 91 pump fuel on over 1,000 installations worldwide. On our 95 we can expect a fair bit more and I'm gonna have another map for running 100 and water/meth injection which should get us close to 550HP (410KW)
we are expecting EASILY in excess of 370kw out of my car
Savspeed has a turbo M3 that is more powerful however the aircon has been removed to accommodate it and the traction is apparently suspect so I don;t count this as a true road & track daily usable M3.
My car will be fairly stealth till I put my foot down
The I'm expecting the 370+KW and the 460nm of torque should rocket me to 100 in about 4.1 seconds as long as I can get enough grip
WWWEEEEEEEEE!!!!

True that! Local installers just cant beat the quality and reliability of a kit such as AA, which has been installed in M3's word-wide...I phoned RGM Motors (Rob Green) at the beginning of the year, and they told me that they are busy with a +1000hp e46 M3 :yikes: But again, that thing might just blow up:rofl:
One thing is for sure...you will be running circles around any Porsche or AMG  You should get your self a VBox, which calculates various interval times via GPS...its an awesome little device :)

After the install, maybe you should run the car against the turbo e46 M3 that's in town.
If I'm not mistaken, that one is a sav conversion.... and it actually f's off.
Seen it in a couple of races.
But the perfect contender for you would be the silver Lumina - not sure if you've seen it around or heard of it.
They're also fitting supercharger at the moment.
Last dyno run had the thing on something like 900nm and 470kw.. or something ridiculous like that... thats before SC.
Could be interesting. Not sure how they compete with M power handling.

On a drag the SAV M3 will eat me like a sad little entre' before the soup course... of course it won't be able to switch on its aircon on a hot day nor will it handle the first corner at our track with that turbo boost curve.. so I recon 0-100 and rolling starts it'll kill me... track racing it won't stand a chance
Same for the Lumina... I chased one up Kloof Nek a good couple of times and although it pulls like a horny racehorse on Tik, as soon as we hit a corner that ***** would slide around like a shaved Asian pornstar in a bubble bath (nice to watch but don't dare try to ride it!!!)
So yeah... they will both probably kill me in a straight line.. question is how trackable and grippy they will be... remember I FIRST went after my holding setup
Bigger wheels, shocks, mounts, struts, camber plates, arms, bushings etc etc... that's the mistake many of these guys make... all that power without the handling is great for dyno days and straight racing...but come play with me on a mountain pass or a race track and day boykie :)
BTW... spoke to the AA guys yesterday... the kit is almost ready... they will send pics early next week before they pack for shipping

It's just a sad product of my excessive personality but I won't stop modding till I've pretty much taken this M as far as I can without completely losing the M'ness of it...
I don't want to ever end up sacrificing track ability for straight line performance

Jezebel is now with Zaid and the Zeemax crew and the strip down has begun, the gear is clearing customs tomorrow some time and I'll post pics as soon as it does. The car is running VERY well, having posted the highest numbers of any M3 (except for Zaid's csl of course!) on the day. A VERY respectable 248kw.
http://i245.photobucket.com/albums/gg48/breakbeatzboy/DynoChart230608.jpg
It'll take the better part of today to strip the car down in prep for the install and there are still a few extra bits that needed to go in so they'll have their hands full. I'm fitting Turner Motorsport adjustable front camber plates and UUC uprated front control arm bushings to make sure the extra power gets put to the ground properly...
Pics to follow :excited:

Here's the first dyno chart... very good but also way below potential... we've have some leaks on the system so we are only boosting at 0.5bar versus the 0.7bar we are aiming for
still pretty bloody awesome and more than 100kw over my previous NA readings from last Sunday... maybe if we sort out the leaks we can break 400KW!!!!

First impressions!
I managed to get about an hours driving in this pm in between rush hour and father duties...
OHMYGOD!!! The car behaves and sounds pretty much stock when cruising around in the lower rev range... besides the sick intercooler peering out from my bumper, no one would know better. She pulls slightly harder from around 3000 to 4500 where the sweet spot used to be but the real power has now moved up the rev range to around 5500 upwards and it's from here that things really start to get exciting.. climbing to 100 is pretty damn quick.. easily under 5 seconds and I haven't hammered it yet.... but from 100 to over 200 comes so quickly it's not even funny.. that car is just like VROOOOM.. I can't explain the power and the pull you actually gotta feel it to truly appreciate it...
Thanks goodness I have such a hardcore suspension and brake setup as this car would be very very dangerous without them - weeeeeeee!!

zaid and I were cruising at around 280 today :) funny how quickly you can run out of road!!!
Don. I'm waiting for the new manifold before you do your thing. I want everything to be perfect before u get stuck in there. Got my updated uuc front control arms today. Stiffer neoprene compound for high speed stability. Once those are in I've pretty much updated every single component in the suspension set-up..... She's already steady at 280. Let's see how she feels over 300 with these new bits up front

I would assume you are talking about traction when you say "break in the rain" because its not like you garage her or anything :tsk:
I'm surprised she still lets you drive her

It's a work in progress... all I need now is lashings of carbon fiber and maybe some killer ICE and I'll be done... or maybe not!!
If you come to street racing this Sunday (weather permitting) I'll take you for a spin
