it's cause everybody likes quad now. i haven't built a computer since these AMDs came out. damn money went to the car instead of a new computer. i'd buy this for kicks if i had the money. this is so cheap, someone buy it. you can run SLI on this mobo, should hold you over for a few more years if you don't do any hardcore gaming.

Man, Dual Core's are perfectly fine. Barely anything takes advantage of Quad Cores, except hardcore games (Crysis) and intense visual rendering programs, or extreme multi-tasking (DVD decoding, burning, while playing a game, and surfing the internet with 50 tabs opened, haha) Im on a Quad core now though because im an enthusiast and just like having the best stuff. And I do some website design, and usually play some triple A games that come out.

Could I have a mod change the last part of my thread title to - "SUPER CHEAP PRICE" instead of super cheap combo, lol. Just realized that might be turning some people away from even looking.

Oh & to put the price into perspective, one of those video cards (the eVGA7800GT) brand new is 135 bucks. So basically, your getting all this stuff (which is pretty much half a computer, at least to people who are familiar with putting them together themselves) for the price of one of those video cards. And they are all very enthusiast friendly parts, especially the Motherboard. Has TONS of features and customization.

:werd: man i'm running a dual setup right now. works perfectly fine for my needs since i've done away with comp games and what not. it's perfectly capable for dvd ripping/encoding and what now.

With all the new drivers, you could of combined my 7800GT, and the 7900GT, as long as the 7900GT was a 256mb ram one.

I PM'ed you but you never replied. Sorry man.
