Umm you posted this in Wheels/Tires. Might want to try and post it in Forced Induction.

check the FI forum. almost everybody doesn't really recommend getting a turbo. if you have the money, ICS can make you custom turbo kit. i've been in search for a turbo, but now i'm leaning towards a supercharger.

the thing is i have roughly 80k on my car, and people tell me its too high of a milage to be putting on a supercharger? is this true?

No, unless you have loss of compression

If you have bad compression a trubo would most likely be worse than a supercharger- in terms of hurting your engine. 80k isn't bad at all the motors in these cars are pratically bullet proof.
unless you have a very fat wallet a custom kit is the only way to go.
Keep in mind that pulling this off would be something to be very proud of there is not but a few e46's with turbos.

You know many of your current mods would be a total waste if you remove them for a turbo, right? Of course, you can always resell some of them for a fraction of what you paid.
Regarding turbos, search for Technique Tuning.

Check out horsepowerfreaks.com they'll be developing a turbo for the 330 by the end of the year.
Also check out techniquetuning.com They'll be coming out with a turbo for the 330 real soon.

waste of time turbo'in a 330...
:hmm:
no its a waste of time to turbo your kia.
To turbo your 330 would be the sH*t. If you do this yourself you'll need some luck tho...
...the tuning world here is slim to not existant. :wahwah: (always wanted to use that one)
I'll be doing this as soon as my car is paid off. About 1 yr and most like the same mileage by then.

nick is a great guy when it comes to buying one of his kits... if you are just going to message him for info on trying to put a kit together... then forget about it... my friend messaged him with some help and seeing how much he would charge for a tune... and he said something along the lines of heh wouldnt do it because he would rather spend the time on their own kits... as i completely understand that.. i also thought tht he was a MASTER tuner, so helping some1 with a tune wouldn't be a problem... i got nothing against him as i think his kits are one of a kind and if i had the $$ to fork out for his kit... i would def. do so...
GL with the search...

if you cant find a reliable kit then go sc its very reliable and easy to install and as for mileage get a leakdown compression test and if that turns out then go for a sc activ3 has close to 200k on his motor if not more
