Test runs comparisons in Canada..

Both on pump gas (93). Tank uses Meth and takes Meth off for comparison.
Both have a passenger. Camera car is the VF Stage 2 (it's a convertible).

Enjoy!

The "vs stock m3" was disappointing. Makes me not want to SC, I expected a more drastic difference.

The turbo parts of the vid, however, might motivate me to save up 15k.

If Tank's a coupe and the VF car is a vert, people will still say it's unfair :).

isnt the vert heavier and less aerodynamic? wont the extra weight hurt the vf vert more than it would hurt the hpf since the hpf car has much more tq?

Nice runs! Tommy, you really need to instal a switch in the car for the methanol. I hid mine under the armrest, so it's out of view. It will make your meth last a lot longer.

Jeff, these runs look quite similar to ours. Hopefully that makes you feel a little better about your car.

I was EXHAUSTed from the trip back from Canada. Tony's car is F'in loud in the open mode!!!
Im really glad I did the Meth on and off to see what the difference actually felt like. Its good to know it really makes a difference.

Nice vid and runs. Car's looking really sick Tommy

What supporting mods does the VF car have?

If Tank's a coupe and the VF car is a vert, people will still say it's unfair :).

A race is a race, race what you bring... so I wouldn't call it "unfair". However, Tommy does have some lightweight mods as well, so the total weight difference between the cars is probably around 450lbs. That's a lot of weight, so the outcome of a coupe VF car should be much different...

The VF has CSL headers, straight pipes to a KS exhaust

The goal of the runs were NOT HPF vs VF but two guys who wanted to have fun and run against each other.. and we recorded it.. that's it! :)

My supporting mods are OEM CSL Headers, Straight Pipes (Eisehaus) Sec.1&2, then the Kreis-Sieg Exhaust in open mode. I dynoed on a dynojet at 473whp pump gas.

The coupe will obviously come closer but still wont beat it. These runs were for fun and curiosity.

Nice vids guys!

I also think the VF vert win over the stock coupe should have been wider especially with 473whp. Perhaps some heat soak brought it down after the runs with Tommy?

And...oh...BTW...Tommy and EP FTW!

Great runs! That HPF kit really delivers

I would install a switch system for the methanol injection...
