I am terrible at interpreting videos, but it looked to me like that puny little $7000 R6 wasted the Gallardo up until very high speeds (140 or so?), so at anything resembling sane speeds the bike is faster. I can see why you wouldn't want an R1 there, not to mention a Hayabusa or ZX14... goodbye 255K Gallardo!

Sport bikes are extremely hard to beat, simple power to weight ratios. I had a ZX-636 for a year and had to sell it before I got hurt. The sport bikes may be faster but the $200k+ Lambo will likely make your Sat nights a lot more interesting. :boink:
