try south plainfield, piscataway, parts of edison...those are nicer areas that reap the benefits of reasonable housing in middlesex county

there is an apartment complex in Piscataway thats real nice and only 15 min away from New Brunswick.

somerville is fine, a little bit of a crapola commute but watch out for flooding
