We just installed the OS Giken triple in my car a couple days ago and I got to take it out for the first time. At first engagement was very slippable and the noise was barely noticeable. Once the clutch got heated up and broken in a bit it became quite a bit more grabby. The pedal effort is slightly more than factory and the engagement point was just a hair higher than factory. We did no break-in and took it out in 820rwhp car with traction and it held every bit of it without slipping.

If you give this car to someone not experienced with driving a grabby clutch they will stall the car. I can drive with it no problem but I'm used to driving with clutches that are far grabbier.

The great thing about the clutch is #1) it's very quiet for a getrag tranny w/lightweight flywheel, #2) turbo spool is improved due to the lightweight, #3) once it's engaged there's no slippage so power can be applied much quicker in each gear. :)

This clutch will now be mandatory for all HPF Stage 4 turbo systems.

Here are some pictures I shot after we took it out of the box.

Take care,
Chris.

Chris,

If having a slip-able clutch is a big priority, you should have one of your engineers design a linkage (or even new clutch pedal assembly) that lowers the mechanical advantage of the stock clutch pedal. This will allow more of the clutch pedal's travel to be in the narrow "slip-able" range...
