I was at the Ring last weekend, where DM performance was very present. :excited:
The grey E30 M3, with 847 horses, just blew past me after a corner and was gone when the next came up. Extremely fast - on the straights at least. And the sound was absolutely stunning.
I would say their cars were the stars that weekend, even though there were several Fast cars present - Porsche (of course), Ferrari, Lamborghini and the english Skyline club - also very fast cars.
Next time I go there, I'll beg them for a lap around the Ring

Just took a look at the video from the Ring at the DM Performance homepage.
I have no doubt that the they are driving fast, but who ever is driving the BMW needs to learn something about track driving. A lot of the corners where taken wrong.
And a word of caution - never overtake to the right on the Ring.
Still - I would beg them for a lap around the Ring in any of their cars.

The video of the ring is the start of my experience with my E30 with the old engine year 2005 (s50 euro twin turbo ),now the ring laps are better

Do a Google image search for "BMW Batmobile" and see what comes up...:P
"In addition to the larger engine, Series 3 cars were often supplied with a package of aerodynamic components so dramatic that the name "Batmobile" was soon applied. That package consisted of a very large rear wing, a more traditional rear spoiler and front fender spats. These components were very successful in competition." -http://www.usautoparts.net/bmw/models/vintage/batmobile.htm
