As per title, you can guess my newest problem. I was detailing the engine yesterday when I noticed oil deposits on the front/lower part of the gasket, almost below spark #1. I cleaned it thoroughly and today it's got oil at the same spot. I believe that's the cause of the burning oil smell in the cabin :banghead: There's also some oil in the spark plug #1 tunnel and it's not from the oil change.

I would like to know how/if this issue affects the engine now that it's supercharged with the ESS Twin Screw. Can it cause issues like rpm drop below idle mark etc?

I will of course replace the gasket plus the 6 small round gaskets but I'm a bit pressed on time right now and thinking to postpone it for 3-4 weeks.

Thanks, :hi:

Thanks, I will replace it asap.

There's some debate regarding the use of high temp silicone gasket sealant in conjuction with the OEM gasket, any opinions on this?

If your the hole is big enough to loose presure inside the rocker cover then it would explain rpm drops.

It's dripping oil right now, so I'll say it's big enough. Ordered the gasket now from dealer, along with the 6 individual ones and 15 rubber seals.
