Up for sale is my new, un-used Kershaw by Ken Onion 1550ST Tactical Knife. It has a "Spring Assisted Opening" feature, wherein the user only need flick their thumb to open the knife 1/5 of the way, and the spring-action takes care of the rest.
The knife has a black polymer handle, metal clip secured by 4 locking screws, and a 3.5" blade (1/3 of which is serrated). The blade has the "Kershaw Ken Onion USA" laser-engraved at the top of one side, and "1550ST KAI Patended Made In USA" laser-engraved in smaller letters on the other.
The blade is matte-black, except for the edge, which is polished.

Those who know their knives know that Kershaw makes incredibly light, strong, and VERY sharp blades; they are also very reliable. Ken Onion designed this particular knife FOR Kershaw, and he is a world-renowned knife-builder, having won numerous awards for his work with all different types of blades. This is part of Kershaw's "Tactical" line, and it is highly-regarded by those in Law Enforcement, SWAT Teams, the FBI, the Military, and especially the Military's various Special Forces as being able to endure anything, cut anything, and still clean up and look brand-new when they bring it home.

Because it is an "assisted opening
knife, you might want to check to see if it is legal to own in your state. It is NOT a switchblade, as it is a side-folder.
This would make a great self-defense knife, an offensive weapon, or just an all-purpose blade to carry around.

My asking price is $80 obo.

BUMP for pictures! This is a super-nice knife guys!

Sorry for the so-so pics; they were taken with my camera-phone, and even at 1600x1200, the LG Voyager doesn't have that great of image quality.

My bad, guys, I don't exactly research this stuff. Back when I bought it new, it was $109, but this was when it first came out.
