Basically thats all is does, increase the response of the electronics throttles. IMHO The real M button/Sport Button is HPF's Meth button which should have a M logo on it since it does what the new M button does on the E60 M5 and E63 M6 and thats add horsepower. Unlocking 140rwhp and 105rwtq over just straight pump is where the fun is at. For the Top Gear fans thats 170 bhp and 130 torque at the flywheel added by a flip of a switch. ;)

I leave my sport button off, it makes controlling all of the power easier

any one else think that hpf clutch is kind of a pain in the ass.

Mine works fine. I get a little chatter taking off if it's cold, and the shifts are a little more crisp (I have smg). I have no complaints.

For SMG cars, you shouldn't idle away slowly from a stop with an aftermarket clutch. This will put too much heat in the clutch and cause it to chatter. Higher performance clutches need to be engaged faster than an organic disk does. With our clutches, I recommend people give it a bit of gas when they go, rather than just letting off the brake and idle up to speed. This will smooth out the engagement and make it shift like butter the rest of the time. Let me know if this helps.

Thanks.
Chris.

Not at all... I'm using one with Stage 2 Gen 3 AA kit and it's the dogs bollocks... never slips never fails and I hammer it day in and day out..

The only issue i had was on a breakfast run and I'd been driving like a total A$$hole pulling burnout after burnout... and eventually I welded the clutch to the flywheel!!!

The garage had to pull the 2 apart and skim the flywheel.. but the clutch was 100% - that's power!

Oh yeah... forgot to mention... pretty much the same feel as stock.. slightly tougher to press in and slightly bitey... but hardly worth mentioning

Not sure what wheels you have, but even if they're stock 19's you should be running at least 275's. Obviously the wider you can go the better. Unfortunately unless you have your fenders rolled or have a widebody kit 275 is usually the limit to avoid rubbing. I have RAC Monolites with special offsets that allow me run 285's.

The Invos do really well. They do SIGNIFICANTLY better than the Hoosiers I had on there because those tires designed to run hot. The Invo's hook up significantly better under normal conditions. I'd like to see some other HPF M3's run them and post up their thoughts.

I still have to start the other Nitto voting poll for the Nitto tire giveaway.

I have Toyo T1R's and that's the only tire I've had since my HPF kit was installed so I can't give much feedback regarding tire vs tire. I have HPF's 2.5 and in 1st or 2nd gear I pretty much never get on the throttle very hard - I can floor it in 3rd and the tires still break loose and then hook up nicely at around 70 - 80 mph. Unless you have a widebody for anything past stage 2 HPF's SBBC is probably a good idea.
