There is now a fairly large demand for built HPF S54 motors both for our international customers and our HPF dealer network. These customers are located far enough away that having us build their motors doesn't make financial and timely sense. And having done several of these engines, we now have it down to a science. Many customers want stage 2.5 and higher and want to be able to install the kits themselves. Up until recently we've told everyone either the car comes to us for stage 2.5 or stage 3 or you don't get it.

In order to meet this demand, HPF is now buying used S54 engines and building them. For shipped kits, we are doing a core exchange with our stage 2.5 turbo systems and higher or the buyer can try to sell their old s54 engine where they live.

If you have a used S54 engine or know of someone that does, we're buying a bunch of them. Please PM me with details.

Thanks.
Chris.

I'm guessing the built motors will be just the same as what you do with your kits (Stage 2.5 and 3), no more options aside from the piston and rods right? I remember asking if a stroker will ever go into the S54 with valves, cams, cylinder and head work. I remember you stated that it is a no b/c the S54 is built quite well, especially when the stock head flows up to 902rwhp with ease. :)

Great Idea! A local shop AMS who build the greatest EVO's and 240sx's do this too. I have given a free KA24DE to them for free, so I can see it in a car and run 9 secs. Goodluck HPF!
