I have $134 in Southwest Airlines credit that I'm not able to use before it expires. The travel must be completed by April 17, 2009.

PRICE DROPPED TO $100 (You pay $100 for a $134 SWA credit)

www.southwest.com

There are no restrictions. This is a credit I received last year when I booked tickets and the price dropped a few days later.

How does this work? How much you want for it? Can it be transferred to someone else?

I'd like to sell the entire amount of the credit ($134), but if your travel isn't for the full amount, I can sell it off in portions.

This is transferrable. It states this in the e-mail from Southwest, and I've confirmed this on two seperate occasions when speaking to one of their customer service reps at 1-800-I-FLY-SWA.

They suggest (when someone other than immediate family is using the credit) that I book the travel arrangements. Once I receive the Paypal payment, I'd get the name of the passenger(s), dates of travel, and airport information. I'll book the travel using my confirmation codes and then forward the confirmation e-mail and new confirmation number to you. I've seen it work this way on eBay and it's what the Southwest reps suggest doing as well.

I hope this makes sense.

So you are selling a credit of $134 for $134? Why go through you when we could go through southwest.com for the same cost?

Because I don't want to lose the money I put out. :banghead:

It's more of like a favor to me, I guess.

Once the deadline is closer, if no one has bought it from me, I'll be willing to take offers.

Yes. You can apply as many previous credits as needed to cover the cost.

I thought once the year expires you will get a voucher minus $50 to use within 6 months?

When booking online you can only use two. If you have more than that, you can call to book the tickets using more. I've used three before.

Not sure. I've always been able to use the credits or sold them before they expired. :dunno:

i'll give u 75$

If what was said above is true and they'll send me a voucher for $50 less to use in 6 months, I'll have $84 to use for my flights in July. So I won't be accepting any offers lower than $84.
