I need a good alignment shop around the Boston area who knows how to align a lowered car. The dealers have been pushing me away on this. Any info would be great. Thx

After installing PSS9 myself and having Turner set it up properly, (not slammed) I went to Bruhm's in Saugus. My ex-Porsche mechanic turned me on to them years ago to do a 911. They also do my brothers Vette. The tech took one look at the 2001 BMW alignment specs and said "this can't be right." Anyway, the car has been great. Camber f/r is -1/-2, minimum front toe and rear toe .09". The only complaint I've had over the years is that the steering wheel isn't always straight and I have to go back. The alignment per-say has always be great. The point is that he will work with you to get your car aligned to do what you need/want.

I recommend:

Direct Tire
126 Galen St.
Watertown, MA.
(617) 923-1800

There are always other Bimmers, Porsche's, and Mercs there when I take my car in. I had them mount my tires from the tire-rack and also the alignment on my car. Very happy.

Good Luck.

I have had my race car and street cars done by Autobahn Automotive in Natick. Great guys and not far from the pike (~18 miles from Boston).

They are at 508-647-1500 if I remember correctly.

I agree with Bim Growl.... I've been told that Direct Tire in Watertown (just outside of Boston) has one of the best machines in the Northeast, and somebody there that is really good with it. Don't remember the exact name of the guy.
