So do all the features work on AT&T or do I have to sign up for the blackberry service via AT&T? ex: email, web, music...etc?

you need to have a blackberry plan with whoever you're carrier is regardless.

Correct, I just have the AT&T service books already on the phone so if you happen to use AT&T, you will have no problems.

no its capable of working on both CDMA and GSM networks. And as you can see from the picture it works on AT&T.
