Bear Mountain Meet, BBQ and Cruise - Sat. April 25th

So a date has been decided. Saturday April 25th. the place is the Anthony Wayne recreation area near Bear mtn.(http://nysparks.state.ny.us/parks/info.asp?parkID=73) for those of you who were at the East Coast E34 meet you will recognize the location. But this time...No entrance fee
the plan is to "chill and grill" there will be grills set up and benches. as far as food is concerned you can either bring your own or you can buy off me.. price tba should be a a few bucks nothing ridiculous. we will be in the first parking lot when you come in and go past the entrance booth on the right. just look for all the cars.
the time: plan on being there at 12. should last a few hours and then....time for a drive. I have 2 potential routes planned.
Route #1 this is the longer one
Route #2 the shorter one
both take the same general route and end at the same point

All types of Bimmers are invited!

From the OP of the Meet:
Due to unforseen problems with the park water system I have had to order 2 portajons to be delivered. SO on the day of the event I'll be passing around the hat so to speak and I need $5 from everyone to cover for the cost of the toilets. When you first enter the park there will be a booth and there should be someone there to collect $5 from everyone.. its $5 per car not per person

Same exact thing happened to me. I met up with about 25 E60s and cruised some nice winding roads for at least an hour. Then we stopped at a really nice seafood restaurant on the river.

The drive was reallly sweet. I haven't done this type of thing since my STI days in 2004/5.

im glad i wasnt around for that fire :eek:, i found out the food was free after someone came with a boat load of burgers and buns. Did you come towards the back of the park near the grilles? I saw a lot of e46ers just chillin on the other side of the park, maybe we were too spread out :dunno:
