Is the ESS TS2 smog exemption here in California? If not, how do you all get around the smog issue? I wouldn't want to remove the charger every two years.

Find someone on the inside that you can pay on the side or something.

I wonder if they would even notice the TS2 they are pretty stealthy if they don't' know what to look for. But yeah find a shop and pay them on the side that is the easiest way.

go all stealth...No ESS labels. Like HighBoostin330 did.

Look at post# 398 (his smog check)
That's what I would do if I could.

It will pass the sniffer, but we have not CARB certified it. The TS is available in a no-logo, black "stealth" option which is very hard to spot anyway.

Will it? That's interesting. We do have an annual smog in the Netherlands but no visual inspection, so that's no issue. But what they do is run the car at both idle and at 3k rpm.
Will the TS2 (stock headers/cats) still pass that?
I was intending on just unhooking the TS2 by installing a shorter accessory belt bypassing the TS, but I may not need to.

I passed smog test with the TS2 with flying colours. But it failed the visual, so I made a 3rd OEM engine cover over the TS and passed ;)

Yes, it will pass if the cats/O2's operate properly. :str8pimpi
