View Full Version : Sams Insane Widebody M3 Getting HPF Stage 2.5!!

Sam's amazing widebody M3 showed up earlier this week at our shop. His car is the most loaded M3 we've ever seen from TV's to the stereo system to the cage, seats and dashboard. It is over the top. He's now getting the HPF stage 2.5 turbo system which includes a built motor. Here are some pictures of his car and the progress we've made on it.
The guys were going to wash my M3 so I decided to park both of them in front of our shop to represent. Here are some pictures. We won't be able to get his car done in time for Bimmerfest, but it will be done shortly after!! I'll post up videos of his car once it's completed.
Take care,
Chris.

Depends on the porpuse. It looks alright to me, it doesn't look like a daily driver. If the wings works for its use, Perfect then.

Chris I wasn't a fan of your body kit... And I'm still not. But after parking it next to that, your kit looks amazing!!!! I really like the stage 1 silver gray wb m3.

Wow, look how close the cage is to the drivers head. No way I'd drive that car without a helmet and 6 point harnesses...

Good eye. Looks like the cage was installed improperly and about 3" to forward. I actually almost installed my cage like this when I was doing my install, it just seems to fit nicely there....

thanks for the pics chris!! your car looks like the Hulk next to mine, lol. keep 'em coming...need a picture of the new radiator in there also
appreciate the positive criticism as well. i realize the styling is not for everyone. the car is being built for a show car right now. the idea is to go over the edge and back again to draw as much attention as possible in every aspect (exterior, interior, engine, ICE, etc).
i grew up drooling over veilside kits with "GTR" wings. i always wanted a insanely widebody turbo import but i had the bimmer and no one has done anything like it so :thanks:
planning to show the car for a couple years then everything comes off and the car will be rebuilt again for the street/track with the HPF turbo.
was serious out of funding, but figure i was in chest deep already, i might as well get the hair wet a bit a see what happens. worst case is my financial adviser gets pissed off and sells the car while i'm on one of my business trips:lmao:
can't wait to drive the car...but i leave the country again first week of may and don't return until the 23rd so some of my friends will drive the car before me:banghead:

Your new exterior is a bit too F&F for me but I'm sure your ride is a beast.

yea i dont like either body kit, its way too much, and over the top for my taste. But if u like it, then thats all the matters. Plus ur geting a stg 2.5, that will make up for anything

Man your sig was sooo clean :bawling::bawling::bawling::bawling:. Would have loved to see a custom, one off, low key WB and not some "kit" with random stuff all over it. At least it's fast.

Thats not a cage, thats a roll bar (that seems too far forward).
There's nothing wrong with CSL trunk + wing. We ran that setup on our e46 CM/GTS5 car last year and it worked out beautifully. I hope these widebodies at least have widened tracks and not just wide wheels/tires, otherwise it defeats the purpose

car looks good, except for the boxy front fenders and WTF were they thinking when they put that wing on??? smoking crack or maybe on a metaphoric high off shrooms??? looks good for the cover of fast and the furious Tokyo drift

1) Agreed...it's too far forward and also too low (probably a sunroof car)...rollbars that low are a no-no :nono:
2) I'm going to assume it's probably the latter...whatever, yo...big pimpin

hes going more for the F&F crowd at hot import rice. But it does float his boat so more power to him.
