Since I was one of the very first with this kit on for testing, I wanted to let you all know what my thoughts are.

All I can say is wow... this kit does not fail to please! it puts out VERY predictable power (very track friendly). The power band is very linear with a strong pull to redline (very noticeable over stock) which puts a smile on your face everytime. :pimpin: . Coming from a stage 2 I must say I am very impressed with this kit's overall quality and performance.

I have had this kit on for little less than a month with it daily driven EVERYDAY on the street and highway. Gas consumption hasn't not changed much if anything at all, I still get 300 - 325 a tank (mixed driving) :craig: . The car remains to be consistent and reliable with no check engine light or codes . I have experienced NO OVER HEATING/HEATSOAK issues whatsoever even during the hot 100 degree weather week we just had. The kit continues to put out power and shine just as expected.:)

I rate this mod 9/10 with 10/10 being the stage 2 that i have.

For those who have not jumped on this kit yet, you are missing out big time! :excited::neener:

Great review! So are you going back to Stg 2 or you wanted to try out the SS kit?

Nice review. Looks like there is no need for the simple bolt ons that barely yield any power anymore. If you want more power, this is the way to go!

Great! This mod is definitely worth it consider how expensive it is to mod BMW...

Nice review, just wish they could offer a catless solution to the CEL. This is the only thing holding me back.

Nice review. Looks like a great kit for basic everyday driving. I would think twice about taking it to the track though, as it is a non-intercooled kit.

Yes John I will do a before and after dyno.
I will be @ VF on Thursday if you want to stop by is gonna be nice but not sure if you ll see it all done or not...it depends on what time you are flying back to N CAL. Wat time are you flying down to LA?
I hope seeing my car it ll help you to make your final decision on which way to go....to be honest I like the fact that VF is in CA and their customer service....also that intake manifold is nice, and upgrading to Sg1 or Sg2 is always another nice option. Anyway I ll give you a call and you are welcome to get a ride!

i leave LA at 6:30. i can probably hang out there for an hour before i have to be back in west LA. the manifold is definitely awesome! i think for ESS you pay extra for it when you go to stage 2.

Sounds good, stop by anytime! Is always good to see the VF facility if you haven't been in there yet, that is actually my fist time too! I made my decision on going VF, so now is your turn to pull the trigger :craig:

The VF kit seems to be pretty well build to me and I actually love the parts included in the kit. Numbers might be a bit lower than the ESS but I am sure the car is tuned well with the GIAC just to be on the safe side. I rather have fewer horses than pushing to the limit since the kit in not air/water cooled unless we go stg1 or stg2. IF I ll get addicted to this thing I think I might upgrade....but we ll see.

haha we will see how things will turn out I wanna how the kit will run on the car.....I hope it won't be like my civic right now...when I started stock was 106whp then added a turbo kit with 170whp and then decided to build the motor to turn on the psi reaching 246whp and finally more head works and bigger ball bearing turbo ending 298whp all numbers on 91 and on a SOHC cheap motor "wish I had a B16 instead"!! Great daily driver, with zero problems right now so I am very happy with my Honda!
