One of the concerns we hear from potential customers is if they can track their M3 due to heat soak if they get one of our turbo systems. This video should answer that question. Thanks Brian for touching your intake manifold with me after 20 minutes of racing. :)

Very Cool, I like the new track videos

Chris, I'll definitely be talking to you about a kit when I get my M3!!

as I said in that video.."NO!!!" :lmao: I'd burn my hand. Even with the thermal coating, I think it gets hot enough to burn you. Maybe not, but I'm not gonna try.

uh, thats kinda dumb...

For the customers that are going to track their HPF turbo M3, they would probably find coolant and oil temp data logs more informative than a guy touching an intake manifold.
An external engine part (and one only attached with silicone couplers) is not a good representation of what is going on inside the engine...just sayin.....

Still an awesome kit, just wonder about the odd marketing sometimes....

People have stated "as fact" that turbo cars are not good track vehicles due to underhood temps skyrocketing. This is a video showing how that's not true with our turbo systems.

Have you seen them glow after spirited driving? That'd most likely melt the skin off your finger. The exhaust manifold gets too hot to touch on any car in any situation

I roast marshmallows over mine in between track sessions, no need to touch em.

But nice video HPF, there nerdier members here I'm sure would appreciate a readout of coolant, oil, and intake air temperatures of both an HPF and stock M3.

It's nice to know you guys do more than just sell products. Always a good sign to see.

I see what you are trying to prove, but the video doesnt really prove anything, its just a dude touching his car. Data logs would be the real way to get rid of any doubters. I for one am not a doubter, so dont worry about me, the video just struck me as weird. I dont think I have read one post about negative feedback on an HPF product or service, so you guys really have nothing to worry about.:)
Now hurry up with that S54 swapped E36 turbo kit!
ha ha haa
