first off i have the AA kit for my car,
alright so i have been having numerous problems with my car and everything i do to try and fix it has no good ending. i am throwing p0174 p2179 p0171 p1500. the first codes are for running lean, fuel trim bank 1 and 2, and oxygen sensor bank 1 and 2. the p1500 is a eml---idle speed control valve.
i have checked for vacuum leaks with none found, i replaced my maf and cleaned my 2 month old icv. neither fixed the problem.
at idle the car seems as its missing but plugs and coils were replaced within 20k ago. i am lost its starting to piss me off and want to drive my car off a bridge.
the eml, traction and brake lights all come on and my car goes into limp mode, only around 2k and on decel.
i have read numerous threads on these issues, and have come up with people having a vacuum leak and or a bad icv. but i have neither of these problems, no vacuum leaks that i can find and like i said the icv is maybe 3 mo old at most and just cleaned and checked that it was working properly yesterday.
i cleared the cel codes this morning and they have stayed off so far, but my eml and traction, brake lights came back on.
any ideas with this situation would be greatly appretiated.

For the EML problem, do a smoke test ASAP. Do you have a boost gauge? if so, what is it reading?

yeah i have a boost gauge, im running 8lbs right before shift and spikes at 10 while shifting, sometimes, other times(rare) it only goes to 8 max even during my shift. at vacuum in idle its about 11-12. and on decel its 21-24. i just sprayed some intake(carb) cleaner near my lower intake(by my throttle body) and the idle rose, so something must not be sealed properly, but i just had all that off yesterday and made sure everything was tight when i re assembled everything. i am lost at where the leak is. all clamps are tight and no cracks in the poly connections. i'm going to tear into it again when the motor cools off.

well just tore into everything again and double checked that everything was tight, re sprayed around the throttle body connections and the idle still rose. there are only two places i can think of that would be causing this because the tubing and hose connections are all tight.
either where the icv just pushes into that tube next to the throttle body(back side of icv) or around the disa where it seals to the intake manifold. those are the only two places that i can think of that it would be leaking. if any of you have any ideas of what else is in that area that could be leaking please share.

As for the EMl light problem whcih i had the same problem... Make sure therre is a stainless pipe connected where your k&n filter goes.... AA told me if that pipe needs to be on since the MAF sensor sits close to the motor it gets hot and thats what throws the EML light....
