If you can get a stage 2 to run right it should beat it as mine isn't running right and is pretty much even with a stock Z06 on Race+Meth...

I'm Stage 2.5 and I can beat a (stock) z06 on pump fuel (without methanol). Stage 1 on race fuel will likely beat the z06.
A list of several 60-130 times HERE (http://www.dfwautoclub.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2). Divexxtreme ran a 7.86 in a stock z06. That's a fast time for that car.

I was able to beat C6 zo6's with pump and meth with my stage 2. but alot of you guys out there need to learn to roll race with turbo. Break boosting is a pretty valuable skill if you can do it right, and fast. there is a video on streetfire of me running a 750 whp and wtq fox body mustang. I won because I got a huge jump by break boosting.

So, how exactly does one break boost and become a master at doing it?
And do you mean BRAKE boost, as to hold the brake while accelerating...because of that's it I know what your talking about.

agreed a stage 1 with race gas should be able to beat or has enough HP to beat a C6 Z06. Now the question is beat him on the streets from a stoplight, thats gonna be hard to do. From a roll on the highway, alot easier. It all depends on what kind of driving skill you have.

Brake boosting is exactly what it sounds like. Left foot on brake, right foot on gas, press the gas enough to see positive boost pressure, press the brake enough to keep your speed steady. Takes a little practice but you will have zero turbo lag and take off like a rocket. Depending on start speed you may also have to use some throttle control to keep your car from going sideways.

Man you are selling yourself short. I have almost the identical setup as you. My buddy has a bonestock zo6 with exhaust. We go out quite a bit and screw around. On a 60-150 run i get pulled on by a little over a car, and that is because his throttle just has a little more pop getting started.
Besides 0-60 times and redlight races are such bullshit ways to judge a cars power. I mean you could take a subaru with a few mods and dust just about anything off the line on the street. Put them on the highway and they won't race.
2 things. The first is the setup i am going to do this year. Stroker kit from vac, along with my aa kit. Then find that zo6. Or try, but i wouldn't recommend, put a 100 shot on it. I mean i would love to purchase a hpf kit but like you i hve already dumped a shitload into my car. Check out that stroker kit!!!!!

I got 100 shot on my AA and it will smoke that stock C6 Z06 on a highway roll. It can even take down a procharge C5 Z06. It will the least expensive way to go since you already have the AA supercharge. But the NOS from AA run about $3K. Or trader your AA Kit in at HPF and go Stage 1. HPF stage 1 on race gas will make more power than a AA Supercharge w/ NOS.

it is only a 30 shot... i got a direct port set up..... but i have it set up for the shows with a switch on the dash..... i don't have the set up that uses the shot by the rpm that is automatic when you hit a certain rpm it comes on and when you hit a certain higher rpm it shuts off.....in any case i don't use it
because i can't use my right arm... it is paralized...i have the set up for the car shows.. when i got the kit a few years ago people were saying any thing over a 50 or 75 shot if you use it alot would do dammage to the engine.... so one of my sponsors sold me on a 30 shot....i forgot about the nox set up on my car.. i can always put in a larger shot and see if i can get the rpm set up... i think it would not be that much.. sence i got the kit already in my car... that guy got me so mad that i couldn't think about nothing else but what he said to me...lollll... thanks alot for telling me about the nox set up

I can agree that redlight races are a bullshit way to judge a cars POWER. However, it's not bullshit when it comes to the cars true PERFORMANCE. Who would really care about a cars power if it can't hook up ? ( highway or stoplight ) ? It just seems like your trying to down play real drag racing because your car can't launch. Put that same subaru on the highway with a twin scroll 40r and tell me it " won't race ". A car that runs 10's will be fast ... regardless of where it shines the best at.
Oh and to the OP...
As it's been stated, a stage 1 on race would suit you well. You do have some weight to your car but, it can be taken as the weight of a passenger. With 700hp+, I think you'll be able to beat a c6 vette without too much trouble. Unfortunately, you'd prolly have to setup the race officially as I doubt you'd want to just drive around with a tank of race fuel looking for him lol ... $$$$$$$$$ burning. You're in bk I see...i'm from qnz ... where do you plan on racing him ? I hope not at the local meets at like Erskine or like the conduit.. You'd get bagged by the jakes quick fast and in a hurry. You can pm me if you want to disclose that info privately.
Edit... I asked you a dumb question when i should have just looked under your avatar for the answer.

I would have to slightly agree if he's really just a show car. I wouldn't get all :ben: just because a better performance car with more whp than my car has crank walked me. I would just turn up my beats and say " and that is why I don't race ".

No need to feel like your in a warzone. I think this thread's been pretty peaceful lol. Just talking setups that's all.
And no, I probably don't know him. I've been out here for about 3 yrs now but when I was back home, the majority of my homies had imports ( teggy's, civics, sentras, accords ) not euro's. I sure would have liked to see that turbo m coupe though. I think to this day i've only seen ONE m3 ( e36 ) at the races and he didn't even run. But that was in long island.
And just to save you some time when trying to find a spot to race. Just try and set the race up if you plan on doing something about your hp. It'll be much easier getting in a run instead of all the stupid ass kids that show up NOT running their cars but attracting MAD attention from the cops. Man, i'm SO glad to be away from that ! haha ! :woot: Either way, HAVE FUN ! it's only a race lol. There's always someone faster.

just because you cant afford a M3 or the hpf kit, doesnt mean you need to knock the product or the price. All you have to do is show the E46 M3 owners another solution that has been proven to make this much power, and make this much power as well as it has without any major problems, and that comes with all these high quality parts, all the A+ customer service, and then wrap it all up in a package thats cheaper than what HPF charges and im sure that company/person/tuner will be selling alot of those kits, until then shut your ignorant A55 up :censor:

for a very good price.... lets make a deal..... hope none of my eurowerkz team mates see this.... i think a few of them would go into shock.... i know m crazy all most went into shock......i think i should up my nox shot a bit....to
maybe 100 shot and make it work by the rpm's.. something to look into...to
help with the weight of my car.... but the good news is i drop 40 lbs and want to drop 60 lbs more... so if i do that .. that will help off set my ice untill
the end of this season car shows.... then i will get rid of alot of weight in my car.. and just have a minor system of ice.... figue i can save a good 150 to 200 lbs when i do that....

for when im ready to sell her.... but i think the s/c will be the last thing to go... if i decide to go that way...trouble is i finally got my car the way i like it... and to start over again i really have to think about it... one thing is for sure... i will never do a ice set up again like i did in my ride this time....i went really over the top trying to keep up with a few of the showcars on the sceen a few years ago.... spent the money that i had for my new remodelling of my 2 floor bathroom in my house lolllll i am finally doing it in a month or so..
it only took me 3 yrs from when i wanted to do it.... thats what i get for joining a car club and hanging out in the fanatics.....have a feeling who ever buys my ice is going to get one great dealdollar wise... i guess thats the way of a showcar lolll

so i think very one did alot of ice to make up for the perf.mod's.. when the fi came out then people started to do more perf. because you score more points for perf. than ice in car shows....i think that is what happen to us we were caught in the time when you did ice....
unless you weren't into showing your car and was into racing it.....then they did no ice or very little ice...i guess we got into mod'ing at the wrong time....
for what i spent on my ice and s/c i could have goten the stage 2.5 from hpf
and still had a smaller ice set up and still get alot of points in the ice glass....
but what is a guy to do when you don't want to spend more than the car when it was new....unless you are very well off... and i am not that..... i spent way to much on my car and that is the reason i have only one car can't afford a 2 car unless it is a junker and i don't want one of those....
