Hello !

My car has been in the shop for a month and a half now. The shop is a BMW specialist, they are very knowledgeable. They already replaced all the camshaft sensors, MAF (there was a code for a bad MAF and the new one made quite a positive difference but didnīt completely solve the problem), checked the spark plugs (they say they are good, Iīm pretty sure they havenīt changed them), fuel pressure is on the max so fuel filter and pump should be good (according to them), they also tested the vanos (they say they have equipment to test it without removing or replacing it on the car).
The car is a supercharged SKII 330ci, still has asatronic piggyback (they checked all the connections on the piggyback as they are G-Powerīs representatives in Portugal). They say they are going to replace the piggyback with a new one that is arriving monday because currently mine changes nothing when turning the knob on it, and they are also checking the DME to see if its a problem with it.

Anyone has any suggestion to what can be causing this ?
Car was stalling when coasting, RPMīs would drop a tiny bit when parked without gear if I depressed and let off the clutch again and recently it was misfiring when driving around and above 60 mph...

Thank you !

P.S. Iīve been driving a Ford Focus with a 1.6L Gas engine for the past month and half, I canīt really take this much longer !! :banghead:

Well if your turn the knob on the ASAtronic than that means something is wrong...wait for the replacement to come and see what happens.

you also mentioned letting off the clutch, isn't ASAtronic supposed to be only for automatic cars??

No, Asatronic comes with all Infinitas supercharger kits too fool the MAF sensor. Hopefully the new asatronic unit will help!

I am doubtful that the ASATronic causes the stalling. Now when the tech said the ASAtronic needs to be replaced, did he/she test the resistance? I have the ASAtronic lying around somewhere and you can I can confirm the numbers. ASAtronic is none other than a pot.

donīt know if the he tested the resistance... he said that it would make no difference when turning the knob, something that we both found strange, apparently the knob is there for show only..

If its not the asatronic, what else can it be ? Any suggestions ? Iīm going insane with this issue...

BTW, if the fuel flow numbers are on the max, it canīt be either the fuel filter or the fuel pump can it ?

My friends m3 had the same exact problem, he just replaced his Idle air control valve, fixed the problem. Does your car sometime stall and then not wanna start? but if you wait for random amounts of time it starts up?

Nope, it always starts right back !

Iīll have them check the ICV and the O2 sensors just in case they havenīt yet, thanks !
