Don't bother. IF you can't afford to rebuild or manual swap, you have a 9 year old car, you'd be better served by upgrading to a faster model (330 manual) or something similar with the 5k than supercharging at low boost.

this car has a great personal value to me, so im not changing it, and one of the thins that has inspired me to make this, is the constant comentaries of people saying.."oh, a 323....then lest race, because my honda will smoke it"...i just want to have the confidence to say...ok motherf&*#r. and smoke everyone of my honda-friends that think they have a ferrari or something.

yeah. sometimes i waste $4000 to compensate for my insecurities too. it's the smart thing to do.

Agreed. The more things you add to your ride, the more chances of something going wrong. Can you afford it?

Are you sure you want to spend $4K to make it happen? There are civics faster than corvettes...

yes, really, i dont want to sell my car, (only if i had the bless to afford an M) and i just want to make it faster. by the way,, i use it like 2-3 times per week, so...i dont think it is going to give problems.

Rent a DBS, Ferrari, Lamborghini or similar car for less and picture their facial expressions. :yikes:

AA sells a good charger though for your needs.

I still think its a bad idea.

If you want to beat them and have sentimental attachment to your car, maybe buy another one. To make your car fast will require $$ into the transmission. That said, I'd spend the money on an H22 powered civic or CRX and make them drool that you have a really nice car and use their dream car as a beater....

yeah and honestly, if your car has so much sentimental value and you have such an attachment to it, why would you want to change it at all?

Now that my car is finally running right, I can say I'm a fan of AA's products, however AA's customer service is really bad. I had a world of issues that I'm happy to discuss via PM, but after over a year, **** is finally running right.

Save the money and buy an M3. You won't regret it.

What do you want to hear.

We have all posted that the auto is not a very strong transmission, you are saying you're going to beat on the car by racing other cars, which means that any SC kit is going to probably kill your transmission.

You expressed a swap isn't an option and that you're in college (meaning likely budget constrained), so we all advised you to NOT buy a supercharger.

I'm not emotionally attached to my cars, so personally I'd sell and buy something else, but in your case, do as you like.

Seriously, don't bother.
Why waste time to impress others at school?
No matter how much money you pour into a BMW, there will always be someone with something faster.
The cost of going from a 323 to a 330 ZHP can't be that much. I just wouldn't bother s/c a 323 with Step, you won't be happy.
