can you unlock it? call sprint and make sure if it could be used on a GSM network. if so im intrested

no you cannot use sprint and verizon phones with GSM, because those two companies are not GSM

Yes you are correct but Blackberry can run off of CDMA (which is sprint) and GSM. I have a blackberry pearl with sprint and use it here in El Salvador with a GSM provider named TIGO. When I said can you unlock. It was meant that you being the customer would call sprint and ask them to send you the unlock code via e-mail or over the phone.Also if it will hold a sim chip from another company.
