Looking to trade my AR-15 chambered for 5.45X39 for another firearm. Pretty much open to anything. It is a Rock River lower with Rock River 6 position collapsible stock and a 16" S&W M&P upper. The 5.45 ammo is roughly half the cost of the .223 and I have a large quantity of it that I can also include with the rifle. The upper can be changed out to accomodate any caliber you desire. Let me know if you or anyone you know is interested. BTW, has about 400 rds through it. Comes with 2 polymer .223 mags and 1 stainless 5.45X39 mag, Hogue pistol grip, quad rail with covers, vertical grip, and red/green dot scope without magnification (not pictured)

I am also interested in an XBOX 360, or car parts for a facelift 330i sedan

Very interesting caliber; never seen it before this, but it sure sounds cool.

Too bad you're not holding onto it...we should've gone shooti--wait a minute, are you the car I kept seeing around ERAU? If so, where the heck have you been? No ECC meetings or anything? I've got fanatics stickers on my car and I never once met you...how is that possible?

Haha...there's a few e46s at ERAU...I'm the silver facelift sedan with m6 replica wheels...I haven't been to any ECC meetings because I stay busy with school and a few other things I have going on...the 5.45 is an unconventional caliber for the ar, but s&w was making an effort to make use of the less expensive ammo...as far as I know they are the only manufacturer of this caliber upper. PM me and we can go to the range one day...I've got more guns than this. Btw, which car is yours?

Haha just graduated but I'm gonna be around Daytona for a while...mine looks pretty much stock at the moment (took off the mods to fund the pursuit of an M3 a couple of years back)...its a TiAg Facelift 330i with clears; everything else is pretty much stock. Its the only one with E46Fanatics stickers, ERAU plates...

I'll definitely hit you up at some point

you can buy this gun brand new for $1022. Impactguns.com

wrecklessfool
05-30-2009, 07:46 PM
Yes, you can buy an AR-15 from Impact Guns for $1022. Hell, you can even get one with a 20" upper for as low as $949!! But before you go trolling on my thread, I advise you to do a little research. With the wealth of knowledge available on the internet this day in age, it would have taken a few minutes for you to realize that the rifle you speak of is chambered for .223/5.56, whereas the rifle I am selling is chambered for the more abundant, less expensive 5.45 X 39 as shown here on sale for $1099.99 from the same dealer: http://www.impactguns.com/store/022188134568.html

In addition to just the rifle, I am also including a quad-rail hand guard with covers, an aftermarket Hogue pistol grip, a vertical foregrip, a red/green dot scope with riser, 3 magazines, and 750 rounds of ammunition.

So, just to recap:

*Scope riser-$35.99:http://www.impactguns.com/store/080000427.html

*Quad-rail handguard- $119.00:http://www.ar15pro.com/item/64756_MIDWEST_INDUSTRIES_Grips_Pads_Stocks_MIDWEST_FOREARM_2-PC_DROP.aspx

*Hogue pistol grip- $15.99:http://www.impactguns.com/store/743108150009.html

*Vertical foregrip- $9.39:http://www.ar15pro.com/item/41077_Promag_Grips_Pads_Stocks_ProMag_PM007_M16_AR16_Blk.asp x

*2 Magazines- $35.98:http://www.ar15pro.com/item/166046_Command_Arms_Accessories_Magazines_CAA_MAG_AR15_MAG_3 0RD_223.aspx

*Scope- $49.97:http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=10248650

*Ammunition- $159.95:http://www.ammunitiontogo.com/catalog1/product_info.php/pName/750rds-545x39-silver-bear-60gr-fmj-ammo/manufacturers_id/19

With the help of a little simple addition, you can clearly see that the entire package I am offering is worth $1490.27 if purchased brand new at internet prices...not to include shipping. So, I feel that when I say I would like offers close to $1200 for my setup, I'm not being absurd. The offer I made you via PM is well below the $1200 I am hoping to get for this rifle. So, the next time you try to ruin a thread, do yourself and everyone else on the forum a favor and do your homework. No response is required of you regarding this post, but from what I could tell of your character during our conversation on the phone last week, I'm sure you will post something as childish as your attempt to ruin my thread. Thank you for your interest in my rifle. I'm sure you'll be happy with the one you purchase from Impact Guns.

Just because a company like Glock (Austrian) has an American manufacturing plant doesn't mean its a bad weapon. Think of it this way...all X-model and Z-model BMWs are made in Spartenburg, SC...does that make them inferior to those produced in Germany?..of course not

Glock happens to be one of the most respected manufacturers in the world, known for its legendary reliability, durability, and ease of use. I, as a fellow HK owner (USP CT), would challenge any fellow HK owner to prove his weapon is more indestructible than a glock and I assure you, we would all lose. Don't discount Glocks...

Again, however, you show your complete immaturity and disrespect for others. Did you know that as an officer your most valuable resource is the people under you, your ENLISTED colleagues. Many of them have experience in their fields that you couldn't even fathom and to call them "pos"s is just a complete disservice; how you ever got to be an officer I have no idea.

And if you really must know, I don't serve. My grandfather is a veteran and many of my friends and colleagues have or are active duty. But it seems clear to me that you need to get your facts straight and have some more respect for your peers; as an officer, I'm sure we all appreciate your service, but let me tell you that you will never earn the respect of your peers or your subordinates with your attitude. Good day sir.

Sounds good. I went out to the range today to shoot the PTR...it's a beast! I also have an M1 Garand and a couple other guns we can fire too. Suprisingly, the 30-06 Garand seems to kick less than the .308 PTR-91.

Do you want me you post pictures of my Military ID? I thought you were Spanish that why I had my bilingual friend on the phone. Most people that live in Florida are. Then when you said, $1022 for a used RRA, a walmart slight, no papers and you let someone stick a flat head screw driver in it to get a bullet that failed in your gun that's when we started to clown you. Your gun failed at the range and you had no idea how to get the bullet out. If that was a colt you would have never had that problem.

Wow, very becoming of a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Army. You ... Sir ... are exactly what is wrong with todays Army. And I can only be thankful you have a piece of **** job as a COMPUTER ENGINEER and I don't have to depend on your stupid ass for ****. How were your 4 tours in Iraq? They must have been pretty rough, all that time on the front lines, kicking in doors, and watching your friends lose their arms and legs to IED and being decapitated from shrapnel. With all that time behind a computer monitor I don't doubt that you know quite a bit about weapons, I'm sure you've had plenty of time to do research on which weapons are the best ... in between your combat patrols of course.

POS enlisted? You are aware that the "POS enlisted" get EVERYTHING done, correct? If it weren't for us, pieces of **** like you would have to get off your ass and actually do something. Frightening, isn't it.

YOU can look ME in the eyes and speak to me when I tell you you can, after you've been told .. ORDERED .. to go into a house that intel knowingly tells you is booby-trapped to blow up. Until then, do the rest of us a favor and quit making us look like douche bags.

Oh, and for the record .. my Colt M4 fails all the time. Several M4s I've had do it and it's one of the main reasons we're issued Gerbers and Leathermans, for when the rounds fail to extract and we have to pull the round out, or when the bolt overrides a round and we need to pry them out. Very common. Hell, my M4 right now has a worn sear and that thing fires fully automatic. Maybe you're not used to them malfunctioning because you never actually shoot your government issued M4 like us Infantrymen do? Just a thought .. But thank you .. thank you again for saving the world with your mad computer engineering skills. The Army is a far better place because of it and we couldn't do it without you. AQIZ trembles in fear whenever they hear your going back over there and bringing your mad, mad computer engineer skills with you.

As someone who has already served this great nation proudly as an enlisted man and my father who served 30 years in The AF before me, and his father before him, I can say without a doubt.........

You are a POS and disgrace to this nation and all who served before you!

I encourage you, if you are such a man to post your military I.D. There are several 100 thousand honorable men & women who would love to know just what a POS you are.

My guess is that you are in a Boy Scout troop, molesting little boys but you tell people on the internet that you are in the military.

Honor is the core value of all branches and you have NONE!

Obviously you are correct, because you most definitely got me there.

Considering I scored high enough to get any job I wanted, but I wanted to be Infantry. So I went Infantry. Do you have any idea how many guys in my company have college degrees and even masters degrees? And yet they went Infantry and enlisted because it's the route they wanted to go and they actually wanted to FIGHT THE FIGHT, not sit looking at a computer monitor all day or driving a truck. We even had a guy who was nuclear physicist before he enlisted, and yes, he was Infantry.

And luckily we have great officers, unlike you. They are also very smart, most of them with mechanical engineering degrees. My First Sergeant? Ya, masters degree as well. So you are right, we are stupid and only chose the Infantry because it was all that was offered to us. Oh and not to mention that my company was part of a task force that was one of the most successful in Iraq and gathered more intel than anyone did as well as catching insurgents on lists of terrorists that you've never seen. I'd love to tell you all about it, but unfortunately it's above your pay grade. Sorry bud. I'd like to tell you who you could take to about it or what organization to talk to .. but I'm afraid I can't do that either.

What would our military do without computer engineers like you .. thank you again for your service, Sir.

I've been following this thread, here is my inquiry:

1. That dude is a complete d-bag and he isn't doing any good on this forum, please off yourself.
2. The AR-15 is a great firearm, although I have only fired the .223 version.
3. GL with the sale bro, f the haters.
