Just bought a set of Orion V2's here are some comparison shots. These shots are taken during the day and you can see Orions are brighter. I found that the Orions are more white and the Aurora's are a little more yellow.

Also the Orions come with this neat plug and play board so there was no need to crimp wires.

I also installed 6000K HID fogs and 6000K bulbs for the headlight

Thanks to Matt at umnitza :thumbsup2:
dont buy from ebay, complete rubbish on ebay

Umitaz orion V2 - thats what you want mate

I am getting it soon

orion v2's 60 led 6000k

I agree. Orion V2 are engineered very well. So bright! :thumbsup2:

I placed an order. I installed a kit for ItaliaM3 last night

They were so bright and looked so good that I had to place an order for version two and replace the Chromium lights I had

I also have seen the V1 in person and the V2 is possibly 50% brighter, its that good.

These are brighter then EAS I saw them side by side in person

But both trump all the old Predator and MYCARR for sure

I just installed mine. These are bright!

The product is really good quality overall, and the clipping system is great.

OK, finally got a couple of non-enhanced pics up of my V2's. These are awesome IMO. Definitely turned some heads. Pics don't do them justice.

i've always knew this was going to be one of the best mods i've done to my car.

orion v2 (60 led) - $140
smoked corners - $50
All eyes on me - Priceless...

This is one of the cheapest mod and it truly only take 45 mins and i am an amateur..

I installed mine today...they are soooo much brighter than my chromiums! I thought my chromiums looked great until I installed the V2's on one side and compared them. Night and day...pictures do not do them justice. My chromiums looked like they were yellow and barely turned on.
I like the way they are thicker and feel less fragile. Installation was a breeze.
I highly recommend these bad boys!
Thanks Matt

First ever multi-color Umnitza Orion Angel eyes. The first angel eyes product on the market that allows the customer to change the color of their angel eyes on the fly, while driving, or at a show.

This product will allow the user to change to different modes, different colors, and even different themes all from the comfort of their own car via color changing LED switch.

The Orion V2 comes with a lifetime warranty and does not have any cold weather problems, no ballasts, and no individual ring problems.

Multi-Color doesn't have the same problems as other LED products, the color transitions are smooth and immediate and new "modes" are being developed to easily upgrade in the future if you would like more choices.

We've been working on it for a bit, and now, finally, it's on the car.

Ok Matt, here are some of the pics. I don't have to tell you guys which one is the upgraded one because it is pretty apparent. :pimpin:

I don't care what anyone says about his customer service. I couldn't make my trip to his shop since I have work 8-5 Mon-Fri. Matt drove 30+ miles, on his day off, with his family to deliver this to me says volumes about his dedication to his product and his customers. Thanks again bro for this and the V4 LEDs

Multi-Color applications are as follows:
4 Modes - White, Select Any Color, Blink All Colors, Fade between colors.
White Mode - on/off
Select Any Color Mode - as it states, you have to switch manually via controller to one of 6-7 different colors.
Blink All Colors - controller switch goes into this mode once the last color of the previous mode (select any color) is chosen (in this case, it's green, once you see green, the next click of the controller gets you blinking - or fade, we haven't figured out the exact order of the modes yet).
Fade Between All Colors - once you get to the end of one mode, the next click of the controller gets you into the other mode.

The modes Blink and Fade are both self-functioning modes, once in that mode, the colors change by themselves. Select Color Mode requires you to self-select.

White is programmed as a "defeat" - no matter what mode you are in, no matter where you are in the cycle of that mode, pressing the blue defeat button automatically locks you back into White.

There is also a memory module included - which means, you won't have to reselect the color you want (unless it's in defeat mode) every time you start your car.

For example, if you wire up the memory module (not necessary if you don't want to), it will automatically start in the previous color (blue, pink, orange, etc. or the mode you were in). if you do not wire in the memory module and the "defeat" button is not pressed, you will simply start in "orange" - the first color of the Select Color Mode.

HID were added using Photoshop from another car with the same front end shot.

This should help - E46 with Orion V2 4300K with 4300K Low Beams that are probably migrated up to 5200K by now due to usage.

One more question, with the Projector46's and the orion V2's will i be able to just turn on the parking lights and have the Angels on or does the xenon have to be on for the angels?

umnitza
06-17-2009, 03:37 PM
the angel eyes are set up for DRL functionality.
So it doesn't matter if you have your parking, xenon, or fogs on, the angel eyes will be on.

Better than before?;)

Much better :woot:

Straight out the box the quality Orions are noticeably better than any other
kit, and I've had MyCarr LED and CCFL before these.

Fitment on facelift sedan is a problem on other kits, but no issues with the
Orion V2s.

Opted for the 4300k kit and they contrast really well with the 6000k bulbs
I've installed.

Have to say that Matt that answered all my PMs and emails quickly and
promised a good fitment on my facelift sedan, and he was right. The T taps
he sent were a nice touch too.

Have to mention also the super fast shipping...got the kit shipped in 4 days
(California to Europe!)

Basically, if you want the best quality kit, with brightest rings and best fit, go
for Orion V2s. Thanks again to Matt and the guys at Umnitza. :hi::str8pimpi

Our improved Orion V2 now has encapsulated connections - this is for Standard V2, Multi-Color V2, and color-selected V2.
For some customers, having this capsule will allow them to mount the unit in a nice secure dry location more easily. It's minor, but it's worth noting nonetheless.

Same great output, same great fit, same great performance.
