K&N intake system

Hey guys and gals, I'm going to purchase the K@N intake off of Mod bargains later in the day....However i just read a post somewhere talking how the K&N intake is one of the worst setups for the E46 3.0. Is this true or just someones opinion because at $210 dollars its tough to beat?

I just installed the system on my car and I totally disagree.

Ive been using this set-up for a year and don't seems to have a problem
