HPF stage 3 vs "Project Imola beast" Twin turbo S4

Finally had a chance to head down to Mexico for some runs this weekend...met up with a bunch of awesome cool dudes.

HPF M3 was on pump fuel and methanol about 22psi..S4 was running C16 race fuel about 30-31psi

One of the best runs ive had for a while also a really cool guy VERY fast S4

Actually that one probably isn't either. It is probably Guruman with the fastest one or Mike from WMS.

Guru is still tuning his and just made around the same power as this Imola beast car but at 26psi and on 94 octane as opposed to 31-32psi and C-16 the imola car was on. He did 649whp 589wtq at 26psi on 94 octane. He just ran 10.9@131mph the other day at his first time at the track with the setup only on 22psi where he made around 580whp . He is getting ready to install meth injection and run around 30psi so you can figure how much faster the car will be with another 8psi on the track.

V8? :confused: They have the same engine. Both 2.7TT in B5 S4s

Imola car uses T3/T4 turbos and Guruman uses GT28s. I don't know if the Imola car is still 2.7 or not but Guru's is 3 liter now.

Basicly when he gave me what i wanted (a roll from 50mph) i would beat him and when i gave him what he wanted(a dig anything under 20mph lol) id completely smoke the tires and hed smoke me..his car is still really fast..next time ill for sure be running race fuel and meth. ;)

10.9 lol ... 10secs4 has been faster than that for sometime now. The 10.7 that's up there of his is with an old setup.

That second vid is WICKED SoCal ! ! ! I think that's the old setup with the 100 shot and gt28rs's. Ran a 9.9 with that. That car is a beast. I can imagine the launch in that thing ! lmao ! ! !

It's quite the performance bargain, then huh? That's alot cheaper than a similarly powered HPF setup, and you don't have the traction issues.

The car I spoke of is full weight, full interior, full exhaust and on 94 octane and that was "only" on 22psi. He had a misfire problem so he wasn't able to run the 26psi that he had just tuned to recently and like I said he will be tuning for a few more psi than that ~30psi when he gets his meth injection running. The car I spoke of is your everyday B5 S4 minus the built engine, not some S4 turned "race car" like Oz's running GT turbos and nitrous and/or a stripped to the max car.

Agreed, it's probably less than that the K04 car is on pump fuel, I believe the red laser is on race fuel, but I think Mike's Laser car is faster than Ari's, not sure. If I had the HPF or your setup Bro, I'd ran Mike along time ago, but not from a dig. :D

Yeah, I know, I just didn't know if some people were aware of the car you were talking about and in the tuning world the B5 S4 when it is stage 3 and running well is a desesently fast car compared to most cars so it just shows a little example of the difference. I understand it would be different compared to something like your car, but I am pretty sure that he makes more power than that Imola Beast S4 so it would probably be a very similar race to the M3 vs S4 originally posted especially due to traction. I did see a video of your car where it looks like you run drag slicks, they might be drag radials though, so that may help you some but I am sure you still get wheel spin out the wazzo in lower gears.

He just hooked up meth injection now and tuned for 31psi and said the car is insane now and plans to redyno Tuesday. He said the car wants to break traction in 3rd gear now running 31psi with the meth going. Can't wait to see what the 1/4 mile brings when he makes it back now. Then the next stage will be race gas!

I pulled a 1.71 60ft with my S4 on street tires. axles break in those cars if you get much faster than a 1.6 60ft.

Yeah it was. We were doing a 6MT swap when we found the problem. It was a broken plastic ball pin inside the transmission.
