The weather is finally cooling off here and decided to get in a couple of vbox runs. I'm planning to beat my 5.86 soon but conditions have to be perfect and I'm going to need some new tires as mine are getting pretty worn. I ran a 6.35 today (yes race/meth). If you look at the graph you can see my car trying to find traction and finally hooking up at 80 mph, I could feel the car drift to the right and then bite right at 80. Check out the spike in G's. Always fun to do these. Love to see more people post their times. :)

Good stuff Bro, I'd love to see more people post some times as well, but like you've said it's not easy and conditions need to be good to beat your best time. I suspect many don't because they are not happy with their time. I'm surprised no one has beat Jim's 6.86 with a Stage 2 HPF on Race + Meth, as he did that at altitude.

I'm hoping to get a low to mid 10, lol, that's SLOW in comparison, but it would be cool to get that on the E92 with just a few bolt ons. Then with the blower in the 7's, we'll see.

Finding the perfect condition is the key and traction is another issue! Can't wait to see you beating your old times!

Must be nice to run low 6 second times with old tires
Keep raising the bar :hi:

Nice run in the low 6's.

That 5.86s you ran is amazing and will be very tough to be beat. Cant wait to see what you do with better tires. Any chance you can vid it and maybe capture a world record run?

Scott, not to thread jack but when are you hitting the 1/4 mile track and break the current record of 11s@139mph?

Would love to but doubt my stock appearing M3 with street tires will ever have a chance at any 1/4 mile records. :dunno:

Yes, very few people do post their times and it may be because their times suck, but even more likely it's because they don't have a vbox or they don't wanna risk getting arrested.

I would agree with that!
