Lately all the F/I section has been is a bunch of bashing and negative talk towards fellow fanatics and friends. So i decided to make a GOOD thread to lighten the mood up a bit in the Forced Induction section
Post up about your positive experience with your forced induction kit. weather it be VF,AA,ESS,HPF,or any others. post some good kill stories:4ngie: or a fun weekend drive or upcoming events you and your car will be at. ill go first...
The other week i was taking a good buddy of mine for a ride. After doing a few quick pulls going well into the triple digit numbers we hit a turn going pretty fast coming out of the turn onto a different freeway(closed freeway:eek:) i punch it hitting 145+mph. turned him into a little girl after both of us were laughing for a few seconds the entire car lights up FLASHING RED LIGHTS!:banghead::censor: A highway patrol saw me going that fast.Knowing im totally screwed there happend to be a freeway off ramp right next time me at the perfect moment. I swerved over and got off quickly he couldnt get over fast enough :P and i got away. Thank god or else i doubt id be telling this story right now. ...oh and dont ask me why a highway patrol was on a closed freeway in the middle of the night cause i dont know the answer :shhh:

Better hope he didn't have his dash camera running. Might only be taking them some time to track down your current address.

2 weeks ago my wife and I were on our way home with a friend of ours, we are both at the light waiting to turn left. Light turns green, he punches it and and makes a nice burn out. Being turbo'd I had to wait until the road became straight, just as the road became straight I glanced over and seen a cop car backing out of a parking stall. Mean while my friend is still hauling butt up the road, I never broke my tires lose or exceeded the speed limit as I had seen him while I was still turning. Cop pulls me over and proceeds to start screaming at me about burning up my tires, I'm like WTF! I gave him my lic and registration. I could not find my insurance card for about 3 minutes, when I did find it I walked it back to him and he replied to late and gave me a ticket for $550.00 for no insurance and a reckless driving ticket for burning my tires. :read: My wife being the ever supporting blurts our "that guys is a dick, obviously he never gets laid". I look over and there he is at my window listening to my wife...I thought for sure a cavity search was in the very near future..

Nope I am closer to him, I will keep him safe by buying cigarettes for him and a soap on a rope. I will also keep his car safe, I will drive it very carefully. Crap was that a curb I just hit..lol

I've got an ultra-rare AA twinscrew stage II kit. Great low end torque and it pulls from 2k rpm. I love it especially at the track because it almost eliminates the need to ever downshift. I drove Texas World Speedway in 5th gear for an entire run and didn't even really notice. I'm sure it hurts my lap times a little but it doesn't stop me from chasing cars down on the straights.
On the first run of the weekend, every instructor that has rode in my car is pretty surprised by how hard it pulls.
The whine sounds pretty cool altough twinscrew kits seem kind of sensitive to leaks. A quality install is very important. My kit runs a little rich and the idle is a little unstable but nothing too bad. I can definitely live with it but still want to fix it. I just haven't had time to work on it.

I might be the only AA TS owner that is active on this board. I think AA sold quite a few E36 M3 kits before production stopped.

the e36 units are different and i know the tms zhp had a ts unit...not sure how many others
not bashing aa, but kind of glad i chose ess so there is still continued production and hopefully support in the future...i am sure aa will take care of anything you need...again, not bashing them at all

I agree, I think it will be more of a PIA later on down the road. The kit literally showed up at my shop on the day I found out that AA stopped production on the TS kit. Oh well, still got a really good deal on the kit.
