For those of you who have the "radio lockup" once in a while, most of you state that pulling over, turning the car off, and restarting solves the problem.
My question is, has anyone tried placing an inline on/off button to the GROM unit's power wire to reset the unit without turning the car or radio off? By momentarily cutting the power to the unit, it will be forced to restart and the radio will lose contact with it. Perhaps this is an easier fix than having to pull over on the side of the freeway to get the radio working again?
