I have an early production date 2003 330i and am trying to add Bluetooth. I know my cardid not come with Bluetooth. I've come across a parts car (2004 325i) that says that it came from the factory with both assist and bluetooth and went through the trouble of checking the part number in the trunk on the tcu. The production date on the module says USA 04.10.2003. It is model number 84.11 6945062-01. After checking the part number m3forums states that this 84.11 6945063 in fact does not come with Bluetooth. Does the -01 hold any exceptions or value at all? How can that be if it's specified from the factory? Also I checked for a Bluetooth antenna but one did not exist. To reiterate I know for a fact that the car was offered with both Bluetooth and assist as it states so from the factory options. Any ideas??

I have read that the pre-2005 Assists did not have bluetooth and that there is inncorrect information that says that the earlier than 05s do. If it does not have an antennae, you don't have bluetooth. You can get the parts you need from Tischer for around $400 to add the TCU, Antennae and brackets. This will need to have the dealer activate voice control for phone only. I have installed the TCU & antenna and have not bothered with voice control, works fine with wheel controls and NAV.
