The car I'm working on is an E36, but the stereo fundamentals seem to be the same between the E36 and the E46, so here goes.
I'm keeping my factory HU for an OEM look, but I'm a little taken back by my LOC options. Since the 4 channels leaving the factory HU are not amplified or crossed over will these still work as a speaker level in, on an LOC like a cleansweep or an LC6i? For obvious reasons, my goal is to grab the signal before the factory amp (10% THD!). What have others used, and what was the outcome?
