This is out of my 1 month old 2003 325i Sedan in which I ordered the upgrade to 'auto-dimming' rear view mirror (with rain sensor but this is part of the windscreen and has nothing to do with the rear-view mirror).

The mirror has the light sensor inbedded in the glass for auto-dimming from head-lights behind... also has sensor on front (black part) of mirror which I believe is the light sensor for auto-headlight control if fitted.

I gather you just need to run power to it. When checking my harness only 3 wires run to it which I assume would be ground, power and the other for the light signal back to light-control for headlamps. There are FAQ's around for retro-fiitted this somewhere.. can't remember exact location at the moment.

Obviously it's as new in immaculate condition. However, you *may* have to get the 2 small plastic parts (housing) that clips over the main bracket to hide it, if you don't already have these.

I'm selling it because I got the OEM alarm fitted and wanted the clown nose :eeps: LED under the visor.. but ended up buying the M3 mirror instead :D

$100 plus delivery which will probably be $10-15 from Australia :yikes:

Found this pic which is exactly how I'm selling mine but WITHOUT the clown nose.

Payment via paypal I guess.

Err.. when I mean without clown nose I mean it's the OEM factory auto-dim mirror that doesn't have a nose to begin with.. not a mirror with the clown nose taken out!
