does anyone have a manual on how to remove the OEM front system, i just can't figure out where to pull the stereo out or where the screws are located ??

Search the old threads. I haven't done it myself, but I believe that there's some prongs that need to be pushed down so that the unit can be pulled out. I even think there's a special tool to "release" the prongs, but I think others have done it with a small screwdriver...

If you are talking 2001 or above 3 series, this should help. I had the OEM stereo out in under 5 minutes, it is so easy it's unbelievable. Getting another stereo to fit in there may be another story as may be wiring in such confined spaces. When you pull out the stereo note that the wiring harness does not pull straight out as you may think, it's sort of up and then out.

are you saying that i need to remove the trim before i can release the stereo ? it's just pull up and out, correct ?

yes you need to remove the trim. follow the directions on the site i sent you and you should be okay, it comes off really easily...
