In dash screen question

I have the standard CD player but what I would like to do is to put the OEM screen in so I could use it as my head unit/TV and have the OBC information on there.

Would this be substantially easier than the sat nav install? because I am not bothered with sat nav, just like the look of it and would like TV.

Wow that would be pretty cool but then again if your going to spend the insane amount of cash BMW is going to want for the part you might as well put in the NAV too. Also NAVTV (navtv.com ) is a grand, you might as well get an aftermarket screen/headunit that has the DVD/TV functions.
