I need help ASAP Please. I have my car at the ICE installer and he tells me I can't get the screen out unless I pull the parking brake and push foot brake something like that to get the screen to come out of HU. Any way anyone know how to Bypass that part and have the screen open during driving to access stereo functions . Thanks .

The mass? Can you please explain little. Also the cable from HU to main display module doesn't reach. its short. Where did you put the display box.

Thanks really appreciated:)

Ebay sells tons of bypass modules. You can use the PAC TR7 trigger module to bypass the video. You can also buy a generic module on ebay that will also work. Here's two links to modules that will work.

the black box with me is made in a custom made floor on the place where the passenger places his feet.

You can not tell that the black box is under his feet. Its totaly stealth.

yeah but i know you dont actualy need the module. Any pro car audio installer knows the trick to connect the cables to the mass of the car. Hans acs did mine that way.

After I should him the modules he said he can Rig something up like putting 2 small buttons next to the head unit face plate and that would be linked with 2 brakes but I have to sign a wiever so that they won't be held responsible if anything happens.

Thanks guys for getting back so soon:)

It's simple......there are two wires....a yellow with black stripe, and yellow with blue stripe. I keep forgetting which one is for the parking brake, but all you do it this......

Which ever wire is used for the parking brake (I believe it's the yellow with black stripe), connect that through a switch that goes to ground. The other yellow wire connects to the "foot" brake switch. All you have to do is when you turn the unit on, press and hold the foot brake, and turn that switch on, off, and back on and let go of the brake.....VIOLA! The safety is bypassed :)

Actually, I think you can insert another cable in the plug that goes into the brain, connect this extra cable to the ground (so permanently, no switch needed), and then you do not need these 2 cables (footbrake and parking brake).

This can be done on the TME750 Alpine screen and it works. I am not sure though it works for the headunit.

Tas can't wait to see your new set up :D

And great info guys... I would do the PAC so you dont have to switch anything and if Hans correct that will save some $$$

Do you guys know if you have to get a sound processor (brain) for this unit?

Comes with the brain, and the sound processor is built in

Hey Ron,

I'm debating between this one and the Pioneer AVH-P7490. Which one would you recommend? I've seen your work before and I know you're quite experienced in this field.

Also, if I do get the IVA-D900, I won't have to buy anything else, right? Because I know that the Pioneer AVH-P7490 comes packaged with a receiver.

Get the bypass module, I had the switch bypass and it gets to be an annoyance to use.
