So did you eve dyno it ? Do you still have the car ?

Next year i'll be building in a ESS TwinScrew stage 2 in my compact E46 (i'm in holland). I think we have about the same amount of motor engineering skills... By the way, how were you able to create the page on the MIT website ? i reckon you were a student?

greetings,

Maybe you should look at some of the other things he's done to the car...

I know his posts was old, but i also now he still logs on occasionally. That means he has 6 years of experience with the ESS supercharger (i know it's not a TS).

Anyways, what's wrong with reviving good posts ? He made an excellent thread on a webpage (funny too) on how his installation went. I'm just curious how his car is doing now...

greetings,
dub

Hey MITE46,

i wil definately make a webpage and post on this forum when i start modding/installing my s/c. Again, that will be next year, i first have to save some more money. Here in Holland, cars are really a lot more expensive. Just imagine this, i bought my car for EUR 9500 ( $ 13300 ) and it's a 2001 325ti compact 40K Miles (pretty rare car, even here by the way). I'm really jealous as you guys, picking up younger cars for that money. Nothing you can do though....

Anyways, i'm also thinking about first modding my M54B25 (piston, crankshaft, camshaft, piston and piston rods), possibly also checking the exhaust header widening/change to make it possible installing a stage 2+ kit of ESS meant for the 330 in my compact.

If all fails, i can always opt for the stage 6 for the 325, that will most certain fit and not strain my engine. Replacing my engine is a bridge too far and getting another car is not an option because i love my compact model.

If anyone here has modded the M54B25 to match the M54B30 specs, let me know !

greetings,

dub
