Hey my dear fellow fanatics, were is everybody at!!

Have not seen anybody get together since HIN a few weeks ago!!

So my Orlando/central florida fanatics want to get together for a cruise/dinner, etc???

since its the begginng of july i though we could set up a meeting at the end of this month?? How about it!!

it seems alot of us have modded our cars recently and would be nice to see how everybody's car has turned out!!

So how about it guys and girls!!

please give me ideas on were to meet, or what we can do!!

There is a planned meeting with BMWCCA at Fields BMW at the end of this month its a tech session were they show you everything about BMW's etc.

so if anybody is interested let meknow!!

About the meet, i was thinking we could meet at the millenium mall?? Or would that be out of place, they seem to have plenty of empty space at some end of the mall and being nice and lots of places to eat i though it mught be a good place!! its also a central location to everyone and you can definitely se it from the road.

Or does someone have another suggestion!!??

What day would we meet Friday? Saturday??

I think Millenia is a great place to meet, if we could set a date where parking wouldn't be a mess (so we could do a "park and show" sort of thing). There are some great restaurants in there, too.

Yeah, Scott but it wasn't you. Last Sat. I was went out w/ my wife and a friend and we were on 528 and a 2002 330ci (white) w/ m3 mirrors, wheels, a drop and an aero front used us as a radar block all the way into Orlando. Thought it might have been you!

Well, if we're going to do this to the level of the last event, someone needs to step up to organize it. I'd be willing to make the arrangements, but considering that I've only gotten involved with E46fanatics in the last couple weeks, maybe one of the veterans would be better suited to it.

Ok Pedro, that's it. I am better off buying a lottery ticket and winning the jackpot than making it to the meets you are organizing. I am going to be out of town that weekend again. I would have loved to attend that Fields meeting also, had i only known ahead. You gotta let me know 6 weeks in advance. I will be out of town the 3rd weekend of August. NO meet then ok?
I hope you have fun. I am looking forward to check the new mods you have and Sal's too and see the Fanatics bunch as well. Next time it's going to be in Tampa and I'm organizing it.

Just so all you guys know, Duckydos over at DTM has organized the DTM Summer Blaze. It's going to take place at Sebring International Raceway on August 2nd at 10:00. It's in conjunction with the Chin Motorsports driving school/race on the same day. OK, we're looking at 10:00am on Saturday, August 2nd at Sebring Raceway. If you need directions, you can try MapQuest.com or Yahoo Maps and fine the best possible route. I would suggest each city try to get a cruise going together. When you arrive at the track, just tell the attendant that you're with Chin Motorsports and they will let you in.

I'm going to be honest, it is going to be hot! Luckily there is shade that overlooks the whole track. I would recommend bringing sunscreen, lots of water, and maybe some fold-out chairs. Also, there'll be parade laps at 10:30 and again at 3:00pm. Please, if you are a member of another BMW Forum (E46Fanatics.com, RoadFly.org, BimmerForums.com, etc) please let them know about it. The more the merrier.

OK, after many great ideas and suggestions, here's what we have come up with:

Saturday, August 2nd 2003
Sebring International Raceway
10am (Tell the gate attendant you're with Chin Motorsports)
Bring lots of water and sunscreen, it's going to be hot.
Weather permitting (it is outdoors).

Chin Motorsports is an excellent driving school which holds track events at major southeast tracks such as Sebring, Roebling, Homestead, and Moroso at very affordable prices (in fact, the price to attend the school is much less then most speeding tickets I have received ). They have been nice enough to loan us their track infield for the day to hold our event. Previous car clubs have set a bad precedent, but I am sure that we will not have that same problem.

Unfortunately, we are not going to be able to race the track. If there is enough interested, we may be able to rent the track in the future, but at this time, it's just not possible. However, there are parade laps at 10:30am and 3:00pm if you want to drive the course and take a few photos. Remember, it's just a parade lap. Passing, aggressive or dangerous driving, or loss of control will result in you being removed from the property. Really, that's not what a parade lap is for.

I would suggest that each city try to organize a caravan. There might also be an official after meet dinner/party, but no details at the moment. All BMW, Mini, Mercedes, Porsche, Audi, and VW car clubs and tuners are welcome to make a showing. There will won't be reserved spots, so it's a first come first serve basis, although there will be plenty of room for everyone.

Also, I will have a small tarp set up with a table. If you could, please sign in and include your email. This isn't so that I can spam you, rather so I can send out a small after-meet survey to try to make the Winter Blaze that much better.

sorry i have not posted but have been a bit busy and have not even turned on my computer in 4-5 days.

OK my dear friend Matt iam sorry to make the meeting in Orlando and especially when you are out of town, for the next meeting it will be in Tampa and i will help you organize it!!promise!!

For the meeting this month should we meet at Millienia Mall??, Well here;s a small schedule i have planned

Since the BMW CCA is having a Tech meet at fields at 6pm this day(july26th) i think we can meet up around 3pm at millenia mall so everybody can meet each other etc, etc. Then we can caraban to fields for the tech meet and stay there as long as we like, i think it will be great and you get to learn about your BMW and meet other BMW enthusiasts. Also for those of you who might be interested in becoming BMWCCA members it will be a good opportunity.

Then after we can all go to dinner or gang out somewere and then we can go to the german car meet at dennys that night, for those who want to stay aroud till about 11pm.

So heres a preliminary plan for saturday july 26th

3pm meet at millenia mall, south side behind blommingdales.

At 540pm we leave to fields BMW (10-15 minute drive) 6pm meeting start at Fields.

After we an go to dinner or decide on a place to go till about 11pm for the german car meet, if anybody wants to stay till that time!!

So let me knoe my dear fanatics and if you have other suggestions feel free to post them!!

The Mall at millenia is right off I-4. you can definitely see it from the road, its the only blomingdales,neiman marcus stores in orlando so i think everybody should find it.

So what about the time ,day??

Well hope to have all of you there!!.

First i have a bit of a problem as i wont be able to make it till about 430pm. i have a bit of a delay getting of from work this saturday and should be getting out between 4-430. So of you guys want to meet at 3pm thats cool i willl catch up to you guys in the 4-5pm area.

do most of you want to go to the BMWCCa meet at fields bmw at 6pm????

please let me know so we can all make a decision to go. It will be interesting and should last about 1.5 hrs or so.

If it rains, we will make alternate plans, try to go somewere with a roof possibly in a mall garage, like Fashion Square mall, or the like. They have a big garage which is 3 levels and plenty of empty parking!1 that way we will have some cover of the hot sun.

So please guys let me know whos going and who will try to make it. I will give you my number so you can catch up to us later ,etc.!!

at Millenia right!! This is good location for everyone??

Thanks to Vic for the Maps, its very visible from I-4 it will be on the right side if you are traveling north. Once you go into the mall i wanted to meet in the back, possibly in the back of Bloomingdales were it seems theres the most empty parking. If you go around the mall you should be able to see it its just right above the semi-underground loading docks of blomingdales. it s in a bit of an incline, the parking in the rear, but not a big problem!!

for who gets there first try to park close to the main road so everybody can see you and so forth.

The reason i like the rear of the mall is because the front were the main entrance and restaurants are is always full and filled with lots of trafic, this way we can get away from it, hopefully!!

O'right fanatics lets make this a good, fun meet!!
